This week's look is a smarter take on streetwear with in-store favourites from ASICS , Carhartt WIP , Edwin , Filson and Happy Socks . Let's start this week's look by talking about those kicks from ASICS ; the freshly dropped Gel-Respector from their "Japanese Garden" pack. The venerated silhouette is outfitted with plush suede and a colourway we loved so much we based an entire outfit around it. Running with the pink we have added the Terry Tee from Edwin which is made from a great thick terry cloth, perfect for spring. For bottoms we have gone for Carhartt WIP 's Skill Pant which is 5 pocket style with a regular fit for a more contemporary look, shown here in complimentary grey. We have gone for a streetwear classic and added a coach jacket to the look. Is the Air Force 1 this years classic? There is a reason why some silhouettes stand the test of time while others fade into obscurity. Some models become such classics that they transcend fads and fashion to form a class of their own. Models like Converse's Chuck Taylor All-Star and Adidas's Stan Smith have forgone their roots in basketball and tennis respectively to become the go to trainers for sneakerheads and the fashionable alike. Tonight La Cheetah present Cooking With Palms Trax Pt. 1 (All Night Long). Over the last 4 years there have been few DJs or producers out there who've impressed us as much as Palms Trax. With that in mind, you'll understand how excited we are to be able to announce that he'll be taking up residency in La Cheetah this year! He'll be curating 4 shows in the club and he's invited some of his favourite acts and good friends to join him throughout 2017. Adidas have just dropped the latest 350 from their SPEZIAL series in this great Mesa colourway. We love this silhouette as it's neither too narrow nor to oversized with a slightly flatter tread for a more classic footwear shape. The colourway may be Autumnal but these look great for the Spring months with premium mesa brown suede the full length of the upper accentuated with cargo brown leather heel tab. Further features include perforated detailing around the toe box, tonal mesa suede signature three stripe and gold trefoil detailing at the tongue, heel and side panel. Finishing the look is a crisp white midsole which extends through the outsole. This week's outfit grid is full of recognisably classic streetwear silhouettes with military inspired details in a colour palette of earthy greens, browns and blacks. Basing the look is an absolute classic shape, the bomber jacket, with this one coming from Carhartt WIP . Almost everybody looks good in a bomber jacket and at least one should constitute part of your wardrobe. This one, called the Adams Jacket , is a familiar bomber shape but is mixed up with some military inspired detailing like the labels on the sleeve and near the bottom band, zips and rib-knit collar, hem and cuffs. What really sets this apart is the colour, Dollar Green, a new colour from Carhartt that has proved the most popular of their Spring/Summer 2017 collection. We feel that green is an underrated gem of a colour it's more exciting than black and navy while not as overpowering as other colours. Plus it goes with almost everything! We're loving this new colourway from Saucony fresh for Spring 2017. Utilising their durable Grid 8000 silhouette and outfitting with premium materials and a dual tone Salmon/Charcoal colourway they have created a firm favourite for the forthcoming milder months. Constructed with a plush nubuck leather upper it features the aforementioned salmon colour around the toe box, mud guard and heel with the charcoal shade found at the upper, tongue and complimentary laces. To showcase the Carhartt WIP SS17 collection, photographer Colin Sussingham and creative director Hayden Taatjes jaunted to Joshua Tree, CA, known for its oddities and beauty. In contrasting the colours and textures of the garments with those of the natural landscape came a certain uniformity. Inspired by Carhartt's earlier decades, the timeless character of the collection's pieces added to the dated style of the shoot.
