Outfit of the Week - Carhartt, Wood Wood & Vans

O ur choice for this weeks outfit grid is the perfect daytime look to take you effortlessly from winter to spring. A paired down subtle aesthetic sees clean lines, classic silhouettes and a neutral colour palette of blues and creams. This week's selection features brand favorites from Wood Wood, Carhartt and Vans and will keep you looking fly whether your going to Uni, shopping or just out and about in town. Carhartt Campbell Jacket - Colony/Safari  As a base to the look we started with the Campbell Jacket, in Colony/Safari, which is fresh from Carhartt's spring/summer 2015 collection. True to their workwear roots the quality is top notch with the jacket constructed of a 65/35% polyester/cotton Poplin. We selected this jacket, the perfect spring jacket, as its lightweight and thanks to the materials and the addition of an adjustable hood it is able to keep us dry during those spring showers. Obey - Spring/Summer 2015 - Lookbook

U rban streetwear stalwart, Obey, have released the lookbook for their Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Obey has been the harbinger of urban streetwear and street influenced culture for a long time, before some of our time. Obey, who have always been innovators and unafraid to take risks, seemed to have matured and toned down their last few seasons, this ability to grow along with their consumers is why they remain relevant and at the forefront of street style today. This season sees a return to classic silhouettes with emphasis placed on fine fabrics, subtle branding and detailing. Already available in store from the first drop is a range of jackets, hoodies, tees and bags with more pieces coming in subsequent drops. The Enforcement jacket is a collared six button down timeless addition to any wardrobe and is in classic black with subtle branding. Music Monday - BADBADNOTGOOD, Ghostface Killah, Drake, Kendrick Lamar

T his week we are serving up a veritable music feast including an album stream of BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah's Sour Soul, Kendrick Lamar's The Blacker The Berry and Drake's short film "Jungle". BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah - Sour Soul (Album Stream) The collaborative relationship between Canadian jazz three-piece BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah began in the summer of last year with the ALIFE project and now they have teamed up again on Sour Soul.  Ghostface Killah has previously revealed hints of his ppreciation of 70s soul which seems to have inspired the instrumental techniques on this 12-track album stream which has just been made available on SoundCloud. The album features live instruments creating a richness to the music which is juxtaposed with the grimness of the rhymes. Guest on the album include Danny Brown, DOOM and Elzhi. T his weeks instalment pays tribute to a lady who is leading the way at being both highly sought-after model and successful author and blogger, while still managing to find time to design her own clothing line and collaborate with top names in the industry. The slender Italian known as Chiara Ferragni, or The Blonde Salad to her readers, is commonly recognised from her role as one of the top models for Guess thanks to a photoshoot from 2013 which landed her an international ad campaign. Although others will know Miss Ferragni from her industry-recognised blog which has received multiple awards and merits of recognition. Ferragni's personal achievements also come in the form of collaborations with massive industry names ranging from Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton, to Tommy Hilfiger and Chanel. Going Out - Renegades of Funk & Le Freak

For this weeks instalment of Going Out we have hand picked a few of the most promising club nights happening in Glasgow this weekend. From dark basements to disco divas, we aim to guide you towards the more underground happenings in Glasgow, shining a light on previously undiscovered treasures of the city. Brooks Heritage has teamed up with Japanese sneaker brand Atmos to launch a limited edition version of its much-loved Chariot shoe. The Pacific Chariot will be available in the UK from 28 th February and celebrates two of the world’s most influential cities; Tokyo and Seattle. The Pacific shoe takes influence from the famous Brooks Chariot silhouette and metropolitan port city living. The colours are reflective of the deep blue ocean, captivating skylines and soft tones of the breaking dawn, all of which are familiar to both brand’s Tokyo and Seattle heritage. The Pacific Chariot plays on all the best-loved features of the traditional Chariot shoe but with an extra special offering. The upper shoe is crafted from a rich grey suede interspersed with perforated detailing in the tow box and side panels. Outfit of the Week - Edwin, Wood Wood, Carhartt & Adidas

F or this weeks outfit selection we have procured a traditional, clean look with subtle streetwear overtones perfect for Summer, capturing the current trend of a more refined and mature style. To start with we have the Wood Wood Damien shirt shown here in navy. Made from a lighter material than previous seasonal offerings, the shirt is crisp and breathable making it a suitable candidate for late summer nights. Next up is the Classic Chino from Japanese denim giants Edwin , made from a more robust 9oz cotton twill the chino is more enduring than previous versions but is still light enough to maintain comfort. As featured in some of the latest posts from Fat Buddha, the Adidas Superstar , shown here in navy, makes a timely return to the streets when considering the latest resurgence of minimal, classic trainers such as the Stan Smiths or Converse Jack Purcells. The iconic Adidas Superstar, the undisputed king of 80s sneakers, makes a triumphant return for Spring 2015. What you see in the latest inception is the ultra-deluxe version of the classic Adidas Superstar silhouette. Constructed in a fresh, premium off-white leather, the look is anchored with Adidas's classic 3-Stripes adorning the side panels and a heel patch in classic sports colours of Collegiate Navy, Green and Core Black.
