Friday, pay day, end of January…so what ya gonna to do? Well, Melting Pot have quite a show to offer, presenting as they do the mighty Motor City Drum Ensemble, a unique kind of group consisting of just one man. Simultaneously retro and futuristic, German House pioneer Danilo Plessow is without doubt one of the most in demand and revered acts on the circuit, having played all the main festivals, been a regular on the Boiler Room and even played a back to back set with Laurent Garnier. His DJ sets take in all genres from disco to house and techno, all seamlessly put together for a perfect party soundtrack. This week's musical offering to kick off the week features the music video for BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah's "Ray Gun", Lil Wayne's new mixtape and a Hypetrak interview with rising star Kali Uchis. This Saturday sees Pistols at Dawn turn two years old and after all this time they are still bringing some of their favorite DJs to Glasgow. To celebrate the occasion they are bringing back their good friend Balearic Mike who kicked off their first event.  If you were in attendance at their opening party, then Mike will need no introduction. Scandinavian imprint Wood Wood Clothing kick-off Copenhagen Fashion Week by presenting the look book for their Spring/Summer 2015 collection titled 'CLASS OF NOW'. Taking inspiration from a fictional boarding school the collection takes its influences from academia, sports and student culture. The collection is split into two, Street Basics and Contemporary Fashion with the later offering divided into three monthly drops that each take thematic focus from sports, science and the art department within said fictional school. The result pulls in several directions whilst still remaining cohesive and consists of check patterns, painted prints, minimalist aesthetics and technical details.
