New Brand: Parlez

Here at Fat Buddha Store we welcome our latest brand; Parlez. Launched in 2012, Parlez is a streetwear & lifestyle brand based in Bristol. Formed with great talent behind it the brand has managed, in a relatively short time, to establish a strong reputation thanks to their combination of modern streetwear silhouettes and vintage sportswear detailing. Drawing inspiration from iconic sportswear & nautical aesthetics, they focus on simple silhouettes, functionality and understated branding, to create minimal, timeless staples where vintage and outdoor influence meets streetwear style. Carhartt WIP - Cargo Pants A/W 2019

This week’s Carhartt WIP edit spotlights their seasonal iterations of cargo pants – the utilitarian pant which, like so many military garments, has since seeped into the civilian wardrobe, thanks to its roomy, relaxed fit and robust fabric. Their Regular Cargo Pant is constructed from a hard-wearing ripstop canvas fabric, with reinforced panel detailing and a subtle woven Carhartt WIP label fixed to the right on-leg pocket. Patagonia's Recycled Black Hole Bags

California-based outdoor imprint Patagonia has long been known for its efforts towards fighting climate change and reducing waste. From refusing to deal with certain Wall Street companies that they deem “ecologically damaging” to being ranked as one of the world’s most transparent brands, Patagonia has done its fair share for the environment, so it comes as no surprise that for its latest Black Hole Bag range, the company has once again made significant progress towards saving the environment: by recycling 10 million plastic bottles to craft the bags. The astronomical amount of plastic bottles were up-cycled and used in the 100-percent-recycled body fabric and webbing of the bags, which are all highly-durable and water-resistant. The 25 carrying options offered range from wheeled duffel bags and tote packs to backpacks and hip packs, and most models come in a variety of color options. Carhartt WIP‘s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection revisits and reworks some of the label’s most iconic pieces a couples them with a number of new contemporary offerings. At the heart of the collection is Carhartt WIP’s workwear-driven aesthetic in the form of the time-tested Michigan Chore Coat and Detroit Jacket, but this time crafted in a distressed Dearborn canvas material for a worn-in look. Military and sportswear were both a a source of inspiration as a number of football casuals like the track pants and sweats are mixed in with cargo pants and a number of camouflage print items. Proving to be Carhartt WIP’s most diverse collection to date, this release also sees technical fabrics worked into its outerwear in the form of the Dexter Jacket, Mountaineering Jackets, and a selection of other soft-shell, water repellant coats.
