Nike SB Blazer - Mid Mosaic

Image
Nike‘s skate-focused Nike SB sub-division has presented its SB Blazer Mid in a new mosaic style that combines tones and textures. Following up the reveal of two other mosaic-esque takes on the mid-cut SB Blazer in May, this fresh pair combines shades both rich and pastel-tinted with a joyful jumble of materials for a collage-like look that draws from a community art space in Barcelona.  There’s definitely no shortage of colour to be had here: everything from purple to clay red to bright red, navy and gray appear across the upper. Notable pieces include purple and red heel detailing that calls to mind images of the Dunk Low “Plum,” plus two-tone Swooshes. Materials used range from soft suedes to textured corduroy and supple leather, while an interesting visual effect is provided by discordant Swoosh and eyestay pieces that jut out farther than their counterparts. Even the midsole gets in on the action with multiple white and gray tones of its own, though when facing off wi

Carhartt WIP - Utility

Image
Carhartt WIP latest editorial explores the Utility facet of the S/S21 men’s and women’s collections, which features a new, refined hickory stripe that offers a contemporary take on this classic, hardwearing fabric. This motif, which has an understated rigor, has been applied to a crisp cotton canvas base in both white and navy. The silhouettes follow suit, with a focus on clean lines and functional detailing, such as hammer loops and tool pockets.  There is also the inclusion of items in a garment dyed cotton drill fabric, accented by red backtrack stitch detailing – another reference to archetypal work jackets and pants. Tonal stitching and buttons allow for these subtle elements to come to the fore, while each garment is finished with a woven Carhartt WIP square label applied to a single pocket.  Shop Carhartt WIP in store and online at Fat Buddha Store.   These images were shot by Paris-based photographer Marcelo Gomes and styled by Simonez Wolf.

Montana - New Rust Effect Spray

Image
The delight of seeing rust on metals can be appreciated in many forms. Whether it be a metal sculpture standing proudly in the great outdoors, a rusty bike full of potential in a heap of junk, rare cars in country barns, or aged building materials (such as pipes and grooves) that tell a story the rest of the building can’t. With the new Montana RUST EFFECT Spray 400ml , you too can create your own unique rust illusion on many surfaces!   The medium-pressure output combined with the Standard Round (female nozzle) allows users to create the effect of time, wear-and-tear, oxidization, and deterioration normally caused by the elements. Nike SB's Zoom Blazer Mid Premium - "Gray Fog" Colorway

Image
Nike SB has just unveiled a new iteration of its Zoom Blazer Mid . The shoe has been given a premium “Gray Fog” colourway with plenty of distressed details. Most of the shoe is built with light gray suede uppers, contrasted by a handful of black panels that have been accented with white fades. “Nike SB” branding appears at the top of the tongue to compliment the big “Nike” logo at the heel. Crisp white laces cover the forefoot, while a large black Swoosh is placed at the sidewalls. All of these details rest over a washed-out midsole to round off the shoe’s bold design. Carhartt WIP - Summer 2021: Far South

Image
Set against a backdrop of old towns and countryside roads in post-industrial pockets of France, the campaign film is comprised of a series of short vignettes that swing between meditative and absurd, as three friends in a beat-up old car embark on a road trip with no destination in particular, other than an escape from restless summertime boredom.  Slow in pace and without dialogue, its long, static shots allow the landscape and a series of non-places to act as the key aesthetic markers of the film, untethered to any one specific place or region. Its effect is to capture not so much a narrative, but a feeling, of boundless teenage energy puncturing the tranquility of its sleepy surroundings, and of seemingly trivial moments rendered significant with time.  The campaign is directed by Joaquim Bayle and Sylvain Sey, who first met while working at Carhartt WIP’s store in Lille, France, before going on to establish themselves in Paris as a filmmaker and photographer respe

YETI - Brand Profile

Image
In 2006, YETI Coolers was founded with a simple mission: build the cooler they’d use every day if it existed. One that was built for the serious outdoor enthusiast. One that could take the abuse they knew they’d put it through out in the field and on the water. One that simply wouldn’t break. They decided early on that product innovation would come from necessity and first-hand experience – not from market research and data analysis. Today, YETI products perform when it matters most - whether that be an excursion into the remote Alaskan wilderness, chasing redfish on the Gulf coast, or just getting together with friends in the backyard. Bike Shed Motorcycle Club - Brand Profile

Image
Since it’s inception in 2011, the Bike Shed has been a place of Common Ground, where people from all walks of life come together to share their passion for two-wheels, whether they ride a motorcycle of not. Within their community they also have a motorcycle club, for riders, but you do not have to be a member or a rider to enjoy their hospitality and unique experience. In the spirit of their founder’s beliefs and backgrounds, all visitors leave their differences at the door to enjoy an inclusive, welcoming space, whoever they are and wherever they come from. Their founders, team, members, customers and regulars are all part of the same diverse moto-culture, and we all look-forward to sharing what they have created with everyone. HOW IT ALL STARTED The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club started in November 2011 as a blog about Anthony “Dutch” van Someren’s journey as modern sportsbike rider into the ‘new wave’ custom motorcycles everyone was reading about online – the cafe racers, b
