As part of the brand's Spring/Summer 2023 campaign, London-based photographer and visual artist Finnegan Travers chronicles three diverse personalities through a day in their life in under two minutes, delivering a heightened sensory experience. Carhartt WIP latest editorial explores the Utility facet of the S/S21 men’s and women’s collections, which features a new, refined hickory stripe that offers a contemporary take on this classic, hardwearing fabric. This motif, which has an understated rigor, has been applied to a crisp cotton canvas base in both white and navy. The silhouettes follow suit, with a focus on clean lines and functional detailing, such as hammer loops and tool pockets.  There is also the inclusion of items in a garment dyed cotton drill fabric, accented by red backtrack stitch detailing – another reference to archetypal work jackets and pants. After a series of strong collaborations with Brain Dead , Neu and Hyperfly , Manchester based fashion retailer Oi Polloi become the next in line to join forces with Carhartt . The store chose to create a set of sweatshirts in Carhartt’s iconic hamilton brown and ash heather grey, featuring a bespoke coloured Carhartt logo embroidered across the chest. Carhartt WIP showcase another season of strong men's outwear for the upcoming autumn and winter months, proving once again that they are a staple in men's outwear. With plenty of essentials and a variety of new jackets , shirts and knitwear , we are given still given a reminder of Carhartt's 125 year history with classic duck brown colouring and the return of the items such as the chore coat . Today we present you the Outfit of The Week chosen by one of our staff member: Vincent. In this outfit, three brands have been chosen: Carhartt WIP for the most part of it, footwear is based on Converse and the notebook is from Field Notes . For the top, he picked the long sleeve Champ Tee in Blue/White. A perfect top for summer in a classic design. For the trousers, he has chosen the Master Pant in Dark Navy, a classic chino pant from Carhartt WIP. The regular cut gives a nice shape to the trousers and they also drop down on the shoes quite nicely. For the accessories, we have the classic ball-pen and the military wallet in dark navy from Carhartt WIP and the plain paper Field Notes to write down all his experiences he had during summer.
