There was a debut full-length (Less Than Human, 2005); remixes for colleagues like Air, Yoko Ono, Daft Punk, David Gahan, Franz Ferdinand; international tours with Cut Copy and Shocking Pinks, and DJ gigs from Telluride to Tel Aviv. This Saturday night (Sat 16th Nov) legendary DJ and producer Daniele Baldelli takes control of the music in one of Glasgow's most intimate  and greatest clubs The Berkeley Suite for this rare special appearance. The self-titled “oldest DJ in Italy”, is the founding father of the Cosmic disco sound. His creative blend of disco, funk, jazz, synth pop, reggae, electronic music, and African and Brazilian records – often played slower or faster – introduced many club-goers to a new mix of rhythm and sound. Hailing from the town of Cattolica in Northern Italy, Daniele made his DJ debut at 17 at local clubs Tana and Tabu, before graduating to the seminal Baia Degli Angeli, a glamorous VIP club whose DJ booth was in a glass elevator.
