The Stone Roses "Set In Stone" Exibition ahead of Glasgow Green Return Gig
The Stone Roses’ 1990 gig at Glasgow Green is a night that’s gone down in rock and roll history. In the sweltering heat, loyal fans jammed into the park to watch a band perform at the top of their game. Ian Tilton was there capturing the energy and passion of the scenes for generations to come. And in a timely warm-up to the group’s Glasgow Green return, the photographer’s work will be on show at the Set In Stone exhibition. Fans can prepare for the landmark concert on June 15 with the Scottish launch of Ian’s book and collection in the Saltmarket. The exhibition, which will take over an abandoned bar for two weeks, marks new gallery initiative Static Collective’s first showcase.
