Following on from last season's Adidas Stan Smith Primeknit , which was a perfect homage to the original timeless tennis silhouette, Adidas have again dropped the this model which is even closer to the original design while despatching the leather construction in favour of summer appropriate Primeknit. Dropping from the "OG" pack here at Fat Buddha Store we have the white/navy model pictured. A crisp white Primeknit upper sits atop a complementary white rubber sole unit while signature Stan Smith detailing such as the contrasting heel tab and tongue stamp add a hint of navy. Just dropped at Fat Buddha Store is this knit edition of Adidas's iconic Stan Smith. The resurgence of the Stan Smith is widely credited to Phoebe Philo, creative director at French fashion house Céline, who wore them while closing the Céline show back in 2010 with them then appearing on a rash of celebrities and street sylers. Since the Stan Smith's reissue in 2014 after two years off the shelves, its popularity and fashion significance have reached near icon status. The true key to it's popularity probably rests however on the fact that the classic silhouette looks good on almost everyone, both male and female. We're loving the clean lines and simplicity of this latest Primeknit edition which benefits from being complimentary to near any outfit.
