Guild Of Labour is one of the newest brands to arrive at Fat Buddha Store , oand one we have been looking forward to arriving. The brand produces simple, beautiful clothing made entirely in England. Inspired by the ideals of heritage workwear and early sportswear not to mention vintage pieces from their own wardrobes, Guild of Labour doesn't follow the usual fads and whims of fashion but focuses instead on the fabric, fit and detail of the garment to produce truly authentic and timeless product. Guild of Labour achieves this effortless style through studying, and drawing inspiration from, the craft in clothing from the 1930s and 40s and moulds them to fit a contemporary wardrobe. These masters of craft pride themselves on fabric sourced right here in Britain and using manufacturers close to home. Carhartt 's great new Shelter Coat has just arrived in store at Fat Buddha and is another great addition to the brands range for Autumn/Winter 2013. The Shelter Coat takes the silhoutte from the brands collaboration from a few seasons back with Japan's Uniform Experiment and is one of Carhartt 's original work/chore jackets from years back. The coat is made from a water repellent fabric and has dry wax coating and features nylon taffeta lined and quilted, 3M Thinsulate© insulation, corduroy top collar, applicated corduroy layers at front yoke with diamond quilting and is finished off with canvas tape between shell fabric and corduroy. Carhartt 's ever popular State Coat makes a welcome return to Fat Buddha Store, moving out of the Carhartt Heritage line and into the Work In Progress range. The State Coat has been one of the brands most popular jackets for the last two seasons, and this looks as if it's going to continue. The robust construction and premium finish sit alongside authentic detailing, perfectly capturing the ethos of this great Detroit brand. The jacket features a button up front, front pocket detail, woven branded chest patch, contrasting bar tack stitching and is finished off by a cord collar.
