Adidas - Torsion Comp “Aqua”

Image
Adidas Originals ‘ retro-inspired Torsion Comp has surfaced in an all-new “Aqua” colourway, paying homage to the ZX 8000 OG that was recently re-released under its Consortium division. The “Aqua” colourway is comprised of bright blue leather — perforated on the toe box and on the side panels — as well as purple and yellow TPU segments marking the Three Stripe branding and the external heel stabilizer. More purple is used in the form of textile cushioning on the toe, while the same fabric in grey is used to support the rear. Rounding off this ’90s performance tennis-inspired sneaker is a matching blue mesh tongue that sports the Torsion technology badge and embroidered OG Adidas branding, a yellow-and-blue sock liner, and a lightweight EVA sole unit that is equipped with the aforementioned Torsion tooling. Adidas Yung 1 - Solar Green/Real Purple

Image
As a follow-up to Adidas ‘ reptilian-inspired “Snakeskin” Yung-1s seen back in May, the German sportswear giant is back with this new colourways “Solar Green/Real Purple.” Constructed with premium suede uppers, the silhouette is tinged with hits of neon, following a thematic colour palette. Kicking off the details of the sneaker, the tongue sees an embroidered logo stamped with Adidas ’ Trefoil logo as a nod to the heritage of the vintage silhouette. Three stripes branding is placed at the side walls, framed by a mix of breathable mesh and textured suede overlays. Rounding up the designs are lime-coloured inner collars, an articulated toe box and a crisp white midsole, underscored by a thin outsole. Available in store and online now at Fat Buddha Store .

Adidas Sobakov 2.0 - Core Black / Solar Orange

Image
Adidas continues to roll out new twists of some of the company’s more intriguing silhouettes, the latest of which is a duo of contrasting Sobakov BOOST silhouettes. The tweaked soccer sneaker is offered in light- and dark-hued iterations, complete with comfy BOOST midsoles for maximum comfort. An asymmetric knit upper adds both visual interest and heightened breathability, with a midsole that mixes soft BOOST at the heel with textured rubber towards the toe. The result is a hybrid of contemporary design and heritage inspiration, reinforced by the striking “Core Black/Solar Orange” colorway that juxtaposes an all-black look with unmissable orange on the leather Three Stripes branding. Adidas Skateboarding - Beavis and Butt-Head

Image
Rifting off the Adidas Skateboarding and Beavis and Butt-Head   partnership from 2018 , the dynamic duo returns for a new pair of  adidas 3MC . This new model follows the recently-revealed collaborative Matchcourt Hi silhouette . The uppers feature prints of the show’s highlight graphics — namely the two’s profiles, their rat friend and the logo — neatly scattered on the white canvas upper, while a black-leather heel piece and stitched tongue badge complete the package. Adidas - BW Army

Image
Confirming the old adage that less is sometimes more is the unbranded cult Germany Army Trainer known as the BW Army . With a somewhat confusing and ambiguous history what is known is that this iconic model began it's life as a standard issue trainer for the pre-reunification West German military; with it's deliberately understated silhouette proving to be it's biggest asset. This low-key leather sneaker has remained somewhat under the radar for most people but has inspired some of fashion's biggest players such as Maison Margiela, Dior Homme and Adidas; with each of them producing their own versions of the clean silhouette. Moving on from the luxe paint-splattered, fluorescent, even woven interpretation of the silhouette from Maison Margiela and Dior's Hedi Slimane Adidas have stripped it back to basics. This paired back version is available in two colourways: black and white, with the upper crafted from leather and suede. The model does away with the brand...
