Converse Jack Purcell

Our good friends at Converse dropped of some great new displays for the brands ever popular Jack Purcell shoe yesterday, and as a thank you, we just had to post it up here. The Jack Purcell is such a timeless classic, and manages to appeal to such a wide audience of people with it's clean simple shape. Born in Guelph, Ontario, Purcell excelled at tennis and golf as a child. He took up badminton in 1924, and rose quickly in Ontario's amateur ranks. Purcell won five consecutive Ontario championships from 1927 to 1931, and was the Canadian National Badminton Champion in 1929 and 1930. Purcell became the leading badminton player in Canada, which led him to write a badminton column for the Toronto Star . In 1931, Purcell traveled to England , having beaten all his competitors in Canada. There, he won the Surrey Doubles but got only as far as the semi-finals in the All-England Championships . aNYthing at Fat Buddha Store

The latest streetwear brand to be added to the store this week is A New York Thing or aNYthing as it is better know. As suggested by the name this brand hails out of New York City and is a brand we have been very excited about getting out hands on. Founded by streetwear don Aaron Bondaroff also known as A-Ron the Don. Aaron is an old head in the streetwear game as a former Supreme top man he went on to create his own line combining classic tees, hats and cut and sew. A real brand for the streetwear heads aNYthing prides itself as a streetwear lifestyle brand inspired by the city it was born in and has been big on the underground scene in for a few years now. Its continual growth has seen it evolve into a creative collective combining clothing with many untapped talents covering different arts from New york City. We're hyped to have it, check it out in store now and online soon.
