Converse for Carhartt WIP Stores Exclusive - A/W19

Image
For Autumn/Winter 2019 Carhartt WIP has teamed up with Converse for another season to create two new variations of the iconic Chuck 70, the contemporary iteration of the Chuck Taylor All Star. Both silhouettes take cues from this season’s Carhartt WIP collection, reflecting key motifs and fabric compositions. The Chuck 70 Orange features a printed ripstop nylon upper which bears a seasonal real tree camouflage that is used heavily within the Carhartt WIP F/W19 collection. The Chuck 70 Black, meanwhile, borrows from seasonal reworkings of iconic Carhartt WIP pieces, which combine tonal canvas and corduroy. This can be seen on the upper, comprised of 8 wale cord and a robust cotton twill, which lends the shoe a subtle, textured aesthetic. Both sneakers come with two sets of laces with Carhartt WIP branding on the tips, and co-branded footbeds. These two styles are now available exclusively at Carhartt WIP's online shop and stores.

Converse x Carhartt WIP

For Spring/Summer 2019 Carhartt WIP has teamed up with Converse to create new variations of the iconic and versatile Chuck 70 – a contemporary iteration of the Chuck Taylor All Star – exclusive to Carhartt WIP stores. Since its earliest days, Carhartt WIP has incorporated military motifs into its collections, reflecting the same spirit that has seen numerous subcultures repurpose military and workwear garments to create their own inimitable uniforms. For its first Chuck 70 iteration of the season, the canvas upper features a contemporary, reworked woodland camouflage print dubbed, ‘Camo Olive,’ with distinctive stitching. The second, fashioned in a ‘Brown Duck’ canvas upper with an egret colored midsole, is offset by a square Carhartt WIP label on the tongue. Between the two styles, this release spans Carhartt WIP's storied heritage and its contemporary, utilitarian approach to design. Outfit of the Week - Carhartt, Converse, Field Notes

Image
Today we present you the Outfit of The Week chosen by one of our staff member: Vincent. In this outfit, three brands have been chosen: Carhartt WIP for the most part of it, footwear is based on Converse and the notebook is from Field Notes . For the top, he picked the long sleeve Champ Tee in Blue/White. A perfect top for summer in a classic design. For the trousers, he has chosen the Master Pant in Dark Navy, a classic chino pant from Carhartt WIP. The regular cut gives a nice shape to the trousers and they also drop down on the shoes quite nicely. For the accessories, we have the classic ball-pen and the military wallet in dark navy from Carhartt WIP and the plain paper Field Notes to write down all his experiences he had during summer. Footwear wise, he went for another classic and quite popular shoe at the moment: The Converse One Star in Ash Grey. Outfit of the Week - Travelling Look

Image
Following on from last week's festival influenced look we thought we'd mix it up again and create a travelling inspired outfit grid this week. We've selected a colour palette of greys and navies in a selection of soft and comfortable fabrics. Starting of the look is this classic grey crewneck from Danish imprint Wood Wood which features the minimal, clean lines often associated with Scandinavian design. Made from a super soft cotton and featuring a comfy fleece lining it's perfect for travelling and can be taken straight off for those arriving in warmer climates. For travelling shorts are always a comfortable and stylish option. We have gone for these regular Johnson Short from Carhartt WIP with a low waist as these are a great option for both smart and casual outfits. For footwear we have gone with Converse's iconic All Star silhouette in this complimentary Wild Dove colourway. No travel outfit would be complete without luggage and we have selected t...
