When the Nike Free was introduced in 2004, it was a massive breakthrough in performance running, at a time when other brands were using bulky cushioning and heavily padded support. With a sock-like fit the shoes were designed to hug every part of your foot and along with the one-piece sole, it gave the wearer an unprecedented amount of movement whilst running. Nike now brings us this Free Run 2 silhouette in a woven upper with suede paneling, deep flex grooves across the concord sole and Nike branding on the tongue and sides.
