Return of the Trucker Cap

Image
Image via @asaprocky instagram The trucker cap was an iconic fashion staple of the early noughties sported by the quintessential, and now mostly forgotten, celebrities of the time such as Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and Ashton Kutcher. While the aforementioned celebs may have had questionable style credentials from an era that fashion enthusiasts will not look back on particularly fondly we are glad to see the Trucker Hat return with a more paired back and contemporary style. Largely thanks to a new set of trendsetters such as A$AP Rocky and Kylie Jenner endorsing the trend it's safe to say that the Trucker Cap is making a long overdue comeback this summer. Clearly identifiable from their netted back panels the style has moved on from the ubiquitous Von Dutch numbers sported back in the day with the newer versions coming in an array of different fits, colour and patterns. In the spirit of this we have rounded up some of our favourite Trucker Hats this season in a broad va...

Fat Buddha Store Look - Black

Image
Black remains fashion's iconic colour seen season after season because it's timeless and suits everyone. It's appeal endures because it transcends trends, is universally flattering and is suitable for almost all occasions. For this look we have gone for a minimalist monochrome approach broken up with a hint of bold colour. The use of understated black allows you to play about with shapes and textures that would otherwise look over done with a daring colour palette, with this is mind for footwear we have gone with Nike's Air Max 95 silhouette. We love the Air Max 95 shape but it can be a difficult shade to pull off especially if you go for a more colour heavy model. The all black version allows the shape to do the talking and goes great with this monochrome look. The jacket used in this look is a classic coach jacket, Obey's Lo-Fi Jacket , again in black. This jacket looks understated from the front but is mixed up with bold contrast branding to the back to stop...
