The nights are fair drawing in and Croatia, Ibiza and the festival season are but a distant memory. Deal with it by going subterranean at another party at La Cheetah. Tomorrow La Cheetah will be hosting the one and only Pete Herbert. Pete can be found regularly behind the decks at venues such as The Nest, Fabric, Ministry Of Sound, Horse and Groom and other parties/clubs in his native London, including a regular slot at the Sancho Panza Notting Hill Carnival Stage each year. As well as on home turf, Pete’s sound has seen him travelling extensively overseas and he plays regularly in other forward thinking clubs around Europe, a regular at the Goa Electronic Parties in Madrid, and regular slots in Paris, Marseille, Belgrade, Copenhagen amongst others. He has also recently done stints djing on tours in Australia, Mexico, Brazil, China, Japan, Russia and can usually be found residing in Bali playing there in the winter…production wise Pete is prolific and produces alongside ...

Tonight (Friday 14th March) Hot Contact takes to Glasgow's notorious late night club haunt The Berkeley Suite with Craig Moog (Piece Together) at the controls. Sound wise think, Disco, Italo, House, Re-Edits, Cosmic, Electronic, Balearic, Psychedelic, Funk, Boogie and everything else in between. The Berkeley Suite has been renowned for it's great great bookings since opening it's doors a while back with guests such as Dan Avery (Phantasy), Prins Thomas (Full Pupp), Thomas Bullock (Rub'n'Tug), Optimo, Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco, Cosmo Vitelli, Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco (Disco Deviance), the list continues...rolling through the place and Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston holding down a residency there with their brilliant 'A Love From Outer Space' club night. The club runs from 11pm till 3am, get down early to ensure entry!

With Merchant City Festival starting in Glasgow today (Friday 26th-28th July) and looking to be one of the biggest yet, those good people at The Brunswick (Basura Blanca) bring you a treat for the ears on the Saturday night when two of Glasgow's finest DJ's join together to bring you a night of musical delight.   DJ Billy Woods who’s Supermax night has been causing a sensation at the Berkeley Suite of late, as has his recent edit work which has been receiving plays from Thomas Bullock (Rub N Tug), DJ Harvey, Tim Sweeney & Idjut Boys steps up to the turntables alongside Craig Moog who's has warmed things up for some of the biggest players in the Disco/Balearic/House scene including Prins Thomas (Full Pupp), Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco (Disco Deviance), Horse Meat Disco and lot's more. Tonight we are most excited about hitting up the Berkley Suite for Disco Deviance Presents: Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco, another fine addition to the now stellar selection of guests that the Berkley Suite has brought us this year. Others including the likes of Horse Meat Disco, Prins Thomas, Optimo and many more. Pete Herbert and Dicky Trisco are the resident DJ's of the Disco Deviance label. The Disco Deviance label has been one of the main drivers in the recent disco resurgence in the past few years with these two at the forefront behind many of the best selling releases. Their strong DJ partnership and the unique sound, creating a hot blend of   old and new music across a number of different genres has resulted in them travelling to rock parties all over the world from UK festivals to as far a field as Australia and Japan.
