Tonight (Friday 14th March) Hot Contact takes to Glasgow's notorious late night club haunt The Berkeley Suite with Craig Moog (Piece Together) at the controls. Sound wise think, Disco, Italo, House, Re-Edits, Cosmic, Electronic, Balearic, Psychedelic, Funk, Boogie and everything else in between. The Berkeley Suite has been renowned for it's great great bookings since opening it's doors a while back with guests such as Dan Avery (Phantasy), Prins Thomas (Full Pupp), Thomas Bullock (Rub'n'Tug), Optimo, Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco, Cosmo Vitelli, Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco (Disco Deviance), the list continues...rolling through the place and Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston holding down a residency there with their brilliant 'A Love From Outer Space' club night. The club runs from 11pm till 3am, get down early to ensure entry!

With Merchant City Festival starting in Glasgow today (Friday 26th-28th July) and looking to be one of the biggest yet, those good people at The Brunswick (Basura Blanca) bring you a treat for the ears on the Saturday night when two of Glasgow's finest DJ's join together to bring you a night of musical delight.   DJ Billy Woods who’s Supermax night has been causing a sensation at the Berkeley Suite of late, as has his recent edit work which has been receiving plays from Thomas Bullock (Rub N Tug), DJ Harvey, Tim Sweeney & Idjut Boys steps up to the turntables alongside Craig Moog who's has warmed things up for some of the biggest players in the Disco/Balearic/House scene including Prins Thomas (Full Pupp), Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco (Disco Deviance), Horse Meat Disco and lot's more. This Saturday Glasgow's Sub Club plays host to Norway's disco prince Todd Terje alongside residents Harri and Dom for Subculture. Be prepared for a touch of everything from his own personal edits and upfront gems that will have everyone getting down. He's known for all ways bringing a good vibe with a great selection and this is not likely to be any different. With a strong influence from his older Norwegian counterparts Lindstrom  and Prins Thomas, Todd Terje has been an excitiing prospect with the release of excellently crafted disco/house tracks such as Eurodans and Ragysh and is know for his own personal edits ranging from Roxy Music to Diana Ross to Adam Ant. Prepare for something very special on Saturday. You just know the place is gonna go off when he drops "Inspector Norse" his latest track which has been tearing up dancefloors all summer. It so simple but so catchy, perfect.
