For Spring/Summer 2019 Carhartt WIP has teamed up with Converse to create new variations of the iconic and versatile Chuck 70 – a contemporary iteration of the Chuck Taylor All Star – exclusive to Carhartt WIP stores. Since its earliest days, Carhartt WIP has incorporated military motifs into its collections, reflecting the same spirit that has seen numerous subcultures repurpose military and workwear garments to create their own inimitable uniforms. For its first Chuck 70 iteration of the season, the canvas upper features a contemporary, reworked woodland camouflage print dubbed, ‘Camo Olive,’ with distinctive stitching. The second, fashioned in a ‘Brown Duck’ canvas upper with an egret colored midsole, is offset by a square Carhartt WIP label on the tongue. Between the two styles, this release spans Carhartt WIP's storied heritage and its contemporary, utilitarian approach to design. The Adidas Yung-1 has proven to be a top silhouette of late and being a favourite for many, the model has seen an array of bold colourways. This time around, the Adidas sneaker received a “Legend Ivy” makeover, defined by a dark mesh and suede upper, the shoe is contrasted with hits of regal purple and neon yellow and a choice touch of pink at the heel. The Adidas Trefoil tongue branding is also expressed against a neon yellow background for an extra element of flair. The latest Carhartt WIP editorial, titled Dusk, spotlights pieces from the S/S19 women’s collection, mixing work-inspired staples with paint splatter motifs. This series of images was shot by London-based photographer Sirui Ma, whose aesthetic builds upon her own personal body of work, one which explores and subverts the conventional gestures seen within portraiture. After unveiling its full Spring/Summer 2019 collection , Adidas Spezial has unveiled a new capsule to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The new pack features three colorways of the Handball silhouette, with subtle references to Ireland and Irish culture through the colors and detailing on each pair. The stand-out design in the pack is wrapped in a green, orange and white detailing on a light-grey suede upper in reference to the Irish flag. The country’s colors are also referenced through another colorway, which features a green nubuck upper offset with orange detailing on the Three Stripes, heel tab and tongue branding. The third and final colorway comes in black, with off-white detailing and branding, in reference to the Guinness logo. All three colorways come with a gold embellished four leaf clover, St. Patrick references in Gaelic and full-length gum soles. High-covering spray paint for a deceivingly realistic marble effect – Now available in two new colors: Marble Red and Marble Blue ! The Montana MARBLE Effect can be used on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. The MARBLE effect is formed by very fi ne colored paint strands on the surface area of the object in question. The area which is to be sprayed is not entirely covered and will stay partially visible. Can be top-coated with many common lacquer types once thoroughly dry. MARBLE Effect can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and customary acrylic paints. Nike ‘s classic tennis shoe from the early ’90s continues to pick up steam with the introduction of new colorways. A go-to sneaker for those looking for a shoe that is both simple and clean, the Grandstand II features premium leather panels that are detailed with three perforations on the lateral and media sides. Branding can be seen just below the eyestay and at the heel; with both the NIKE Swoosh logo and “ NIKE ” name embroidered in blue. Royal blue also makes its way on the detailed tongue tab, the inside lining, and on the bottom of the outsole. Unlike past retro models where the Grandstand II featured a gum-rubber outsole to accompany the midsole, this particular colorway sees blue trim that wraps around an off white vintage midsole — further hinting at the shoe’s past.
