Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Clarks, Edwin, Happy Socks, Ray-Ban

Image
This weeks outfit grid is a summer ready look with utilitarian cuts from Carhartt WIP & Edwin with accessories from Happy Socks & Ray-Ban . Starting the look is this classic white Base T-shirt from Carhartt WIP . The white t-shirt is the summer seasons best friend and will keep you cool when the sun is shining and looks clean and fresh. We have layered the t-shirt up with this Corporal Shirt from Japanese imprint Edwin ; an evergreen military style shirt made from a crispy cotton poplin featuring angled chest pockets, placket stitch detail and elbow reinforcement. In keeping with the utilitarian cuts; for bottoms we have used Carhartt WIP's   Marshall Jogger which have a sporty note thanks to the drawcord at the waist and the elastic cuffs. Elevating the look is Clarks's signature weaver silhouette in complimentary black which we have teamed with these bold Paisley Pattern Socks for a hint of colour. Finally add a summer essential with these J...

Going Out - Cooking With Palms Trax Pt.2 w/ Antal

Image
Tonight La Cheetah Club presents Cooking with Palms Trax & Antal. Over the last 4 years there have been few DJs or producers out there who've impressed as much as Palms Trax. With that in mind, you'll understand how excited we are to be able to announce that he'll be taking up residency in La Cheetah this year! He'll be curating 4 shows in the club and he's invited some of his favourite acts and good friends to join him throughout 2017. Pt.2 sees him bring a true legend of the Dutch scene to the club, Rush Hour boss, ANTAL! Rightly regarded as one of the best selectors on the planet, the Amsterdam native will be making his first appearance in the club on the 26th May. His label has been a massive influence Palms Trax over the years and there’s not many who can touch him as a DJ so it’s a bit of a dream come true to have these 2 sharing the booth. Doors open at 10pm with 80 tickets available on the door.

Fat Buddha Store Look - Black

Image
Black remains fashion's iconic colour seen season after season because it's timeless and suits everyone. It's appeal endures because it transcends trends, is universally flattering and is suitable for almost all occasions. For this look we have gone for a minimalist monochrome approach broken up with a hint of bold colour. The use of understated black allows you to play about with shapes and textures that would otherwise look over done with a daring colour palette, with this is mind for footwear we have gone with Nike's Air Max 95 silhouette. We love the Air Max 95 shape but it can be a difficult shade to pull off especially if you go for a more colour heavy model. The all black version allows the shape to do the talking and goes great with this monochrome look. The jacket used in this look is a classic coach jacket, Obey's Lo-Fi Jacket , again in black. This jacket looks understated from the front but is mixed up with bold contrast branding to the back to stop...

Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Clarks, Edwin, Happy Socks

Image
Pastel colours have been massive this Spring/Summer, as we have looked at previously, so for this week's look we have gathered a range of blooming pastel hues. Starting off the look is the Mack Shirt from Carhartt WIP . This shirt is made from a lightweight and super soft cotton which is both comfortable and weather appropriate. This classic check shirt is reworked for summer by its contemporary colour palette of soft pinks and greys. Running with the pink, and don't forget real men wear pink, we have layered the shirt over this marled Holbrook LT Tee also from Carhartt WIP .  For bottoms we have gone with a classic fine denim from Edwin . The ED-80 is a slim cut while the rainbow selvedge is a high quality soft and lighter denim which makes it ideal for the warmer months.  For footwear we have gone with one of our favourite shoes this season, Clarks Weaver in pastel blue. This moccasin type shoe could be described as the smarter version of the Wallabe , and use...
