This week's look is a smarter take on streetwear with in-store favourites from ASICS , Carhartt WIP , Edwin , Filson and Happy Socks . Let's start this week's look by talking about those kicks from ASICS ; the freshly dropped Gel-Respector from their "Japanese Garden" pack. The venerated silhouette is outfitted with plush suede and a colourway we loved so much we based an entire outfit around it. Running with the pink we have added the Terry Tee from Edwin which is made from a great thick terry cloth, perfect for spring. For bottoms we have gone for Carhartt WIP 's Skill Pant which is 5 pocket style with a regular fit for a more contemporary look, shown here in complimentary grey. We have gone for a streetwear classic and added a coach jacket to the look. ASICS have given their iconic Gel-Lyte III a lunar-themed makeover for Autumn/Winter 2016. Constructed from a two-tone nubuck and premium suede upper the colourway is inspired by the surface of the moon and boasted perforated detail to the toe box. Prototypical Gel-Lyte III features such as the split tongue and embossed branding have been retained along with a signature dark navy GEL cushioned midsole and rubber outsole. ASICS annual Yuletide release has dropped at Fat Buddha Store . For the third year running ASICS have provided us with a Christmas offering; this time in the form of their Gel Lyte III silhouette with a suitably festive aesthetic. Inspired by the cool winter nights of the festive period the upper is constructed from a mix of premium suede and nubuck. The theme carries through to the colourway with the toe and midfoot featuring a unique icy shade "Blue Mirage' and a dark obsidian known as ‘Indian Ink’ covering the signature split-tongue, side panel form stripes, and heel. Adding the final festive touch is a Christmas jumper inspired liner with a red and white snowflake motif throughout. Drops in store and online on the 25th of November 2016.

This week's look features two of Autumn/Winter biggest trends camo print and layered down. The camo trend has been around for a while and is still going strong on brands like Carhartt WIP and Bape while layered down emerged on the Japanese and Scandinavian market through brands such as the North Face Purple Label and Norse Projects along with more technical minded brands such as Patagonia and Lacoste Live. We love these trends so much we thought we would marry them in this weeks outfit grid. Starting the look off is the beautiful Michigan Chore Coat from Carhartt WIP in their signature camo duck. Full camo print can sometimes overpower a garment but thanks to the classic fit, complimentary gold buttons and a subtle black collar the balance on this number is just right. So to the next trend, layered down. Under the Carhartt jacket we have used Patagonia's Hi-Loft Down Jacket as the inner layer, the key to pulling off this trend is not to think of it as two jackets ...

This weeks look play about with textures and patterns while being grounded by a classic blue colour palette. As it's winter lets start off by talking about the jacket, in this case we have used the Patagonia 's Hi-Loft Down Jacket in Underwater Blue. Warmth and protection from the elements comes in the form of a traceable duck down padding, ideal for layering as we have shown here. Under the jacket Carhartt WIP 's L/S Raymond Shirt which on first glance looks like your classic button up Oxford shirt but is brought bang up to date thanks to camo sleeve inserts. Toying with the textures of the look we have used the Western II Cord Pant also from Carhartt WIP , the cut of which is a classic straight leg fit. For footwear we have used Asics's signature Gel Lyte III silhouette in complimentary navy while the navy Todd Wool Scarf from Wood Wood and Camo Essentials Bag from Carhartt WIP ties the look together. Yesterday seen the drop of ASICS's "Workwear Pack" from which we will be stocking the Gel Lyte III and Gel Lyte V . Inspired, as the name would suggest, by hardwearing workwear the range of popular silhouettes utilise a range of earthy tones which bring to mind the heritage colours of workwear brands like Carhartt and Timberland . In keeping with the aesthetic the models feature D-ring lace loops, tough hiking laces and a hammer and axe graphic screened on the footbed. The theme carries through to the construction which sees a blend of rough and raw materials such as perforated suede, embossed pebbled leather and nylon. ASICS have dropped the "After Hours" pack which celebrates late nights in a collection that consists of two tonal shades in their iconic (and ever popular) Gel Lyte III retro runner silhouette. The dual tonal shades make use of premium leather and nubuck all sitting atop an interesting speckled midsole. The duo of colour options come in a deep forest green and vibrant violet both utilising nubuck at the toebox and black hits to the rubber, laces, and speckled GEL-cushioned midsole. A textural mix of smooth nubuck and perforated leather add an extra dimension to these Gel Lyte III 's while all the prototypical features (split tongue/cushioned midsole) are still evident.
