Today the only thing on my mind... Isn't painting things... It's Call of Duty: Black Ops I expect to come home tomorrow to have it sitting waiting on me and I don't plan on being sociable again for at least 3 days. So here is a little homage to all things Black here at Fat Buddha Store while we all wait patiently on the launch. Featuring Carhartt , The Hundreds , Chocolate , Breo  and Benny Gold . Christmas Day Graffiti

Hi guys, this week I'm going to show you the process from black book to wall (or in this case wood). Above is a quick sketch in pen and below are the stages of getting it up on a wall. Above is the outline of the piece. Above is the pink fill for the bottom half. Above is the top fill(purple), blended into the bottom fill(pink). Above is the Black outline. Above is the 3D done in black. Above is the highlight done in baby blue. This was Christmas morning, and the paint i was using was... Black, Dek violet, Baby blue Monster colours and the pink was some old school Krylon can. Drop me a comment if you have any tips or ideas. thanks for reading Calum.

Black Books

Hi guys, this week I'm going to be talking about Black Books. Fat Buddha stock a costume Fat Buddha Black book with our logo on the front. these Books come in two sizes A4 and A5. The paper quality is really high and it has loads of pages. The book is protected by a stiff cover to stop your sketches getting messed up, and are a reasonable price too. Sadly i can't take any pictures this week as the cameras still broke but I've found some pictures on the web. None of these pictures are mine i take no credit. So what do you use your Black Book for? well first off you can start Simple, some tags or throw-ups: Then you could move on to some advance wildstyles or Burners. These take years of sketching to perfect and take some time to do: Black books are the very beginning of graffiti, its were you keep all your work, where you practise, where your masterpieces are created.
