Landing this week we have architecture and design magazine Blueprint along with international design magazine Brand and for avant garde music aficionados the latest issue of Wire. The latest issue of Blueprint Magazine looks at the playful side of architecture and appropriately features Grayson Perry's House for Essex on the cover. A house from such a divisive artist that surprisingly seems not to have divided opinion, rather the opposite it seems to have brought people together in their praise. Another piece of playful architecture being looked at in this edition is the deliciously gaudy Serpentine Pavilion the temporary chrysalis-like structure opened at Serpentine Gallery. Of particular interest to our home city the magazine looks at the devastation inflicted on the Glasgow School of Art in last years fire photographed poignantly by Gareth Gardener.
