After a stellar collab at the start of the year Philadelphian sneaker mammoth UBIQ are once again teaming up with heritage running brand Brooks . After a string of collabs from Brook's in their Chariot silhouette it's nice to see the more robust '90s Fusion shape at the helm this time. The shoe's aesthetic is inspired by the age old art of wine-making and accordingly features a colour pallet of deep red with hues of rich cream across the toe box, tongue and heel. You're maybe wondering where the idea for the colourway came from well surprisingly Philadelphia, the hometown of UBIQ, makes some of the best wine in America. Brooks Heritage has teamed up with Japanese sneaker brand Atmos to launch a limited edition version of its much-loved Chariot shoe. The Pacific Chariot will be available in the UK from 28 th February and celebrates two of the world’s most influential cities; Tokyo and Seattle. The Pacific shoe takes influence from the famous Brooks Chariot silhouette and metropolitan port city living. The colours are reflective of the deep blue ocean, captivating skylines and soft tones of the breaking dawn, all of which are familiar to both brand’s Tokyo and Seattle heritage. The Pacific Chariot plays on all the best-loved features of the traditional Chariot shoe but with an extra special offering. The upper shoe is crafted from a rich grey suede interspersed with perforated detailing in the tow box and side panels. With BAIT opening their fourth chapter store in Seattle, Washington, and legendary footwear company Brooks celebrating 100 years in the business what better way to celebrate that to team up and release this special edition of Brook's Chariot.  Premium materials have been used in this shoe with high grade leather which features pigskin suede uppers in navy and teal with red accents. The colourway of red, navy and teal is inspired by the varsity colorways of the Brooks Heritage Collection and the sports icon of the company’s home city, the Seattle Seahawks. The shoes feature tonal heat debossing branding on the hell with the aged feel of the off white bone logo and sole a nod to Brooks long heritage. These also come with two sets of waxed rope and two sets of waxed flat lace options.
