If you are lucky enough to live in London, and have a keen interest in Vinyl toys /art you should probably go visit 2nd AMOS Miniature Plastic Workshop. Here you will find a temporary store with tons of toys that have never been available in the UK before. From Japan exclusives to sold out AMOS and World of Pain figures, you’ll surely walk out with some goods, and even if you don't - just remember we carry a decent range of AMOS classics too, which we recently restocked. The most exciting purchase may just be a 16-page comic zine “ Caleb’s Adventures in Wonderlean.” If you want to see more about Caleb , check out his blog, The Wisdom of Caleb . How Mega are Munnys?

Image
Here at Fat Buddha , we just love DIY Munny's and they don't come any bigger or better than the Mega Munny . Available in white, blue and red, these are a DIY'ers dream. Here are some from around the web that impressed us. So get your hands on some fine art materials and get customising! I also came across this little gem during my search... Feeling the love here for Fat Buddha and some nice gold spray paint . It's not an 18 inch mega munny, it's one of the 8 inch ones, but to whoever did this, we salute you. ©

Custom Donnie Dunny

Image
What do you do if you get a duplicate blind box dunny ? Well Blak customizes them to add to his and his wife's growing collection. This was once a series 5 blind box dunny and after a good few hours of stripping the original artwork, sculpting, sanding, painting (then stripping the paint because it reacted badly with the modelling clay), and painting again - he created a unique one-off custom dunny based on the creepy rabbit, Frank, from Donnie Darko (one of his favourite films). Contrary to various model-making blogs and forums, the Montana Gold Silverchrome seems to have worked out pretty nicely on this paint job. Look out for a couple more of Blak's custom vinyl figures on the blog in future

DIY Trexi's Fully Stocked

Image
For those who like a bit of DIY vinyl figure customising, you'll be pleased to hear we've got the full range of DIY Trexi figures back in stock. There are eight different styles for you to choose from, each with their own unique features and personalities, and being blank, they are ready for you to unleash your creativity on them with pens, paints, markers or almost anything that takes your fancy! This little dude below is my favourite ( DIY Trexi, pink ), and at only £6, it's one of the cheapest ways to get into this addictive market. If you're not that confident in creating your own, then there's always the Joe Ledbetter Trexi blind box figures which make great little ornaments or a quirky little trinket to sit on your desk at work.
