Today we present you the Outfit of The Week chosen by one of our staff member: Vincent. In this outfit, three brands have been chosen: Carhartt WIP for the most part of it, footwear is based on Converse and the notebook is from Field Notes . For the top, he picked the long sleeve Champ Tee in Blue/White. A perfect top for summer in a classic design. For the trousers, he has chosen the Master Pant in Dark Navy, a classic chino pant from Carhartt WIP. The regular cut gives a nice shape to the trousers and they also drop down on the shoes quite nicely. For the accessories, we have the classic ball-pen and the military wallet in dark navy from Carhartt WIP and the plain paper Field Notes to write down all his experiences he had during summer. Footwear wise, he went for another classic and quite popular shoe at the moment: The Converse One Star in Ash Grey. Today we present you the Outfit of the Week chosen by one of our staff member: Craig. In this outfit, he has only chosen two brands: Edwin Jeans and Converse . Two labels that have a character and history behind them. For the top, he picked the Longsleeve Terry Striped Tee in Washed Red/Black, a nice and soft made cotton t-shirt with a little patch at the 'unfinished' hem for the branding. Bottom wise, he has chosen the ED-55 Red Selvedge, a classic piece from Edwin Jeans. A robust and one of a kind pair of jeans finished with the red selvedge to give you that extra touch when you roll up your denim. For the accessories, we have the Democratique Socks from Edwin Jeans with those two stripes and Japanese writing, we also have the Kurt Beanie in black for those kind of bed head days even in summer. Everyone's favourite Canadian bag brand Herschel Supply Co have opened a pop-up ship in the picturesque waterfront town of Deep Cove in their native Canada. The pop-up represents the imprint's first stand alone retail presence in the Metro Vancouver area, near the brand's headquarters, with the space outfitted to look like a look like a childhood lemonade stand popular on the other side of the Atlantic.  The bold space has been outfitted in bold shades of lemon and pink with a standout element being the custom designed hand-blown yellow glass light fixture by Vancouver and Berlin-based contemporary design firm, Bocci . Along with selling lemonade by The Juice Truck the outfit will also feature exclusive Herschel Supply Packable Collection products such as backpacks and totes. Here at Fat Buddha Store we cast our eyes towards the colder months as we present our Autumn/Winter 2016 lookbook. In this lookbook we have showcased four season-defining looks that encapsulate the Fat Buddha Store aesthetics. Our first two looks feature pieces from Carhartt WIP , Patagonia , Adidas and Converse and are nautical inspired looks drawing heavily on the colour blue set against clean whites.  These looks play with different hues and shades shown in textural expressions and striped patterns. The second of our looks are more classicly workwear inspired with pieces from Carhartt WIP , Edwin and Wood Wood . For these looks, we have revisited some iconic workwear pieces and silhouettes drawing on workwear tradition of durability and function combined with updated patterns and colourways that are at home in the upcoming colder seasons. To mark Fat Buddha Store's 10th anniversary, we have opened our new flagship store in Queen Street, in the heart of Glasgow's retail centre. Inspired by the surrounding architecture, the design takes from the old and new and relies on a near monochrome colour palette and heavy materials. The interior is crafted from a contrasting combination of reclaimed wood, glass and aluminium, which slot together in perfect harmony. Our new store will house, within an airy space spanning two floors, our collection of; apparel, accessories, footwear, books and spray paint supplies. We are thrilled to announce our latest brand; sleek Scandinavian rain wear makers Elka. Rubber raincoats continue to be a fashion favourite seen in a rage of collections, collaboration and lookbooks over the last few seasons. Danish brand Elka, however, were one of the first on the scene  with their durable jackets first made in 1958 for fisherman, the military and police force. Here at Fat Buddha Store this week we have seen the second drop of even more pieces from Carhartt WIP's Spring/Summer 2016 collection . This drop has seen the return of a number of classic silhouettes along with a new selection of athletic inspired college scripts pullovers, tees, coaches jackets and more. Fresh fabrics and colours have been utilized to modernize the aforementioned workwear staple such as canvas and the bold oro yellow seen heavily throughout. Subtle branding including Carhartt's classic box logo along with college typography ensure that the bold colours and fabric do not overpower the pieces. Along with the new and popular oro colour classic grey and blue also imbue several key pieces.
