ASICS have given their iconic Gel-Lyte III a lunar-themed makeover for Autumn/Winter 2016. Constructed from a two-tone nubuck and premium suede upper the colourway is inspired by the surface of the moon and boasted perforated detail to the toe box. Prototypical Gel-Lyte III features such as the split tongue and embossed branding have been retained along with a signature dark navy GEL cushioned midsole and rubber outsole. ASICS annual Yuletide release has dropped at Fat Buddha Store . For the third year running ASICS have provided us with a Christmas offering; this time in the form of their Gel Lyte III silhouette with a suitably festive aesthetic. Inspired by the cool winter nights of the festive period the upper is constructed from a mix of premium suede and nubuck. The theme carries through to the colourway with the toe and midfoot featuring a unique icy shade "Blue Mirage' and a dark obsidian known as ‘Indian Ink’ covering the signature split-tongue, side panel form stripes, and heel. Adding the final festive touch is a Christmas jumper inspired liner with a red and white snowflake motif throughout. Drops in store and online on the 25th of November 2016.

Yesterday seen the drop of ASICS's "Workwear Pack" from which we will be stocking the Gel Lyte III and Gel Lyte V . Inspired, as the name would suggest, by hardwearing workwear the range of popular silhouettes utilise a range of earthy tones which bring to mind the heritage colours of workwear brands like Carhartt and Timberland . In keeping with the aesthetic the models feature D-ring lace loops, tough hiking laces and a hammer and axe graphic screened on the footbed. The theme carries through to the construction which sees a blend of rough and raw materials such as perforated suede, embossed pebbled leather and nylon. ASICS have dropped the "After Hours" pack which celebrates late nights in a collection that consists of two tonal shades in their iconic (and ever popular) Gel Lyte III retro runner silhouette. The dual tonal shades make use of premium leather and nubuck all sitting atop an interesting speckled midsole. The duo of colour options come in a deep forest green and vibrant violet both utilising nubuck at the toebox and black hits to the rubber, laces, and speckled GEL-cushioned midsole. A textural mix of smooth nubuck and perforated leather add an extra dimension to these Gel Lyte III 's while all the prototypical features (split tongue/cushioned midsole) are still evident. Japanese sneaker mammoths ASICS have dropped this bold new colourway in their signature Gel-Lyte III silhouette. This imperial purple and jet black colour option comes as part of Asics's 50/50 pack. The boss colourway sees the black upper accented with white hits while the toebox and liner are dipped in deep purple. Constructed from leather and suede they feature all the Gel-Lyte III touches you would expect such as a gel cushioned sole and the iconic split tongue. ASICS release another gem with the CMYK Pack which is inspired by the four colours used in printers: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (Black) and the printer process of utilizing dots of colour.   The pack covers the entire range of ASICS classics, with a Yellow Gel Lyte III, Red GT-II, Royal Gel Lyte III, and Black Saga. The pack is great for anyone into colourblocking with block colours covering most of the shoe and polka dot accents on the midsoles and lining.  The first from the pack to drop instore is the red in the popular GT-II silhouette. The shoe features suede and mesh uppers with a contrasting white sole and the printed polka dot lining.
