T his weeks curated outfit comes from three powerhouses each at the forefront of their game. Herschel may have not been on the scene for as long as the rest of the featured companies but the impact they have made is undeniable. Creating robust, timeless products at a reasonable price has meant that Herschel has attracted a wide range of custom from hill walkers and mountain climbers to city dwellers and daily commuters.  Clarks , on the other hand, have had nearly 200 years to evolve and establish themselves as a brand. In this time they've adapted new technology and have created one of the most popular boots available today. Herschel - Heritage Backpack

Renowned Vancouver bag specialist Herschel's Heritage Backpack has been a firm favourite with all of us here at Fat Buddha Store for some time and comes in at a great price too. The brand began when in the early 1900's, Peter Alexander Cormack, a barrel maker by trade, and his wife Annie made the journey from Wick, Scotland, crossing the Atlantic to Canada at a time when the government was enticing families to immigrate through the homestead program. After seemingly endless days of travel, the couple settled in the small town of Herschel , whose population today is counted at 30 residents. Founded in 2009 by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack, Herschel Supply Co. adopted the name of the small town where three generations of their family grew up. In store and online now we are proud to announce that we have added Herschel Supply Co to our growing list of fine goods. The Vancouver, Canada based brand Herschel Supply Co may have all the feel and look of heritage and history but in fact it was only founded in 2009 by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack. There aim was to manufacture the finest quality backpacks, bags and travel accessories using the most superior materials available and boy did they succeed. Although the brand was only founded in 2009 they are steeped in history as their forefathers travelled from Wick, Scotland across the Atlantic to Canad in the 1900's.
