Outfit of the Week - Carhartt, Clarks & Herschel

This weeks curated outfit comes from three powerhouses each at the forefront of their game. Herschel may have not been on the scene for as long as the rest of the featured companies but the impact they have made is undeniable. Creating robust, timeless products at a reasonable price has meant that Herschel has attracted a wide range of custom from hill walkers and mountain climbers to city dwellers and daily commuters. 

Clarks, on the other hand, have had nearly 200 years to evolve and establish themselves as a brand. In this time they've adapted new technology and have created one of the most popular boots available today. Carhartt don't really need an introduction but for those unfamiliar, the workwear conglomerate have been producing outstanding garments since the late 1800's and have only progressed ever since.

Starting from the top we have the Heart Polka shirt from Carhartt, a long sleeved white number with an all over polka dot print punctuated with the classic heart icon which has been used since the early 1900's. The Heart Polka combines a classic look with its button down collar and mixes it with heritage references with the vintage heart branding creating a clean, timeless piece suitable for casual or formal use.

The Sid Pant from Carhartt have been stocked here at Fat Buddha for many years now simply due their simplicity and flexibility to sit well with almost any outfit. The 8.6oz cotton twill provides a solid long lasting build while the T400 Lycra gives just enough stretch and manoeuvrability to avoid any rips and tears.

Clarks' Desert boots were first introduced to the world in 1950 and have remained a crucial part of gentlemen's wardrobes ever since. The Beeswax version of the classic boot are made from a soft, "buttery" leather built on top of an absorbent crep sole and feature a simple four eylet lacing system.

The Little America bag from Herschel Supply Co. offers a traditional looking bag built with pride and insures longevity thanks to its solid build and timeless style. Premium leather strapping compliments the black nylon body and features striped accents inside.
