Disco deviants Horse Meat Disco make a welcome return to Glasgow's Berkeley Suite tomorrow night (Saturday 31st August). Now approaching their tenth year of existence, the four man dj club collective Horse Meat Disco have continued to lead the way in the disco field with packed residencies at their HQ Eagle London in London's inner city Vauxhall, Cielo and verious venues in New York, Prince Charles in Berlin and Silencio/Wanderlust in Paris. Inspired by the music and inclusive ethos of New York's heady club scene in the 80s & 90s the collective have garnered a unique reputation for throwing amazing parties with unmatchable sets. With Merchant City Festival starting in Glasgow today (Friday 26th-28th July) and looking to be one of the biggest yet, those good people at The Brunswick (Basura Blanca) bring you a treat for the ears on the Saturday night when two of Glasgow's finest DJ's join together to bring you a night of musical delight.   DJ Billy Woods who’s Supermax night has been causing a sensation at the Berkeley Suite of late, as has his recent edit work which has been receiving plays from Thomas Bullock (Rub N Tug), DJ Harvey, Tim Sweeney & Idjut Boys steps up to the turntables alongside Craig Moog who's has warmed things up for some of the biggest players in the Disco/Balearic/House scene including Prins Thomas (Full Pupp), Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco (Disco Deviance), Horse Meat Disco and lot's more. Tonight (Friday 28th June) Hot Contact takes to Glasgow's notorious late night club haunt The Berkeley Suite with Craig Moog (Piece Together) at the controls. Sound wise think, Disco, Italo, House, Re-Edits, Cosmic, Electronic, Balearic, Psychedelic, Funk, Boogie and everything else in between. Supermax storms The Berkeley Suite in Glasgow tonite (Sat 1st Dec) for a night of disco sleaze with DJ Billy Woods at the controls. Billy and Lisa Ringrose are known for their outstanding party throwing ability's and serving up some of the best slices of Disco around. Supermax celebrated it's 5th birthday a few months ago and threw a massive party for Halloween, in the shape of the Monster Ball with an outstanding turnout at Glasgow's ever popular and notorious Berkeley Suite Venue, which has seen such great DJ's such as Optimo, Horse Meat Disco, Thomas Bullock (Rub n Tug), Andrew Weatherall and many, many more grace it's great surroundings.
