The musical entertainment comes from Tenacious D this week! The band are made up of Jack Black and Kyle Gass who met in our very own Edinburgh in 1989. Their style has been called "mock rock" due to their mixture of comedy and rock music. So far the guys have released 3 albums, "Tenacious D" "The Pick of Destiny" and "Rize of the Fenix" The band have also featured in a film "The Pick of Destiny" which is a fictional portrayal of their origins. The duo are also large supporters of legalising cannabis with many of their songs telling stories of what happened to them during their stoned state. The guys are playing in Glasgow tomorrow and you can get tickets here . It's sure to be a good one so get along if you can.

On todays busy Saturday afternoon, talk turned to our favourite music videos, an in particular risque or taboo music videos and nobody is doing controversial these days any better than Lady Gaga. Loooooots of Hype about his Music Monday artist: Tyler, The Creator from OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) Been into this dude for a long time, listening to his stuff in the shop an awful lot. It was Hurts last week, now tonight i'm seeing another one of my favourite bands from 2010, Chapel Club. Chapel Club released their debut album 'Palace' last week - and i've been playing it on repeat instore all week! Chapel Club play King Tuts tonight at 8pm. Fraser.

Here at the shop , I Absolutely cannot get enough of the new White Lies album Ritual which came out last week! Nowhere near as good as the first White Lies album - 'To Lose My Life' which was released in 2008, its still a banger none the less! Another Monday and a fresh start to the week. Here's some videos to keep you smiling as winter rolls around... Heard this the other day and love the video for it, been ripped so many times... As for great songs, it doesnt get much better than this, The Faces with Stay with me, i have played this album to death. My love of The Faces comes from a guy Jamie Nixon, who i used to work with at Flip back in the day, he played Rod Stewart and the Faces relentlessly, so here it is.

I can't help but like Rex the Dog for taking all the best bits of the 80s and regurgitating them into a giant ball of awesome. His new single, Bubblicious, is definitely a winner and the video is undoubtedly a peach. It almost makes you want to forgive him for his atrocities committed in the 90s under the JX moniker: catchy numbers like ' Son of a Gun ', and ' There's Nothing I Wont Do ' . Hard to believe its the same guy, but thankfully he's been able to go back in time and take the good bits from the 80s to undo some of the damage he did in the 90s.
