Here at Fat Buddha Store we welcome the latest brand to our fold, iconic Italian sneaker brand Diadora . The story of Diadora is entwined with that of its homeland. Formed in 1940s Italy by Marcello Danieli the brand expanded in the 50s thanks to a reputation for quality and refined Italian craftsmanship. The running and tennis silhouettes which we recognise today can trace their origins back to the 1970s and 1980s when an explosion in athletics facilitated a boom in sporting apparel. A series of collaborations with tennis and football champions such as Bjorn Borg and Roberto Bettaga facilitated the brand's rise to it's current position as one of the world's most popular sneaker brands, up there with the other major European imprints of Puma and Adidas .
