Brand Profile - Diadora

Here at Fat Buddha Store we welcome the latest brand to our fold, iconic Italian sneaker brand Diadora.

The story of Diadora is entwined with that of its homeland. Formed in 1940s Italy by Marcello Danieli the brand expanded in the 50s thanks to a reputation for quality and refined Italian craftsmanship. The running and tennis silhouettes which we recognise today can trace their origins back to the 1970s and 1980s when an explosion in athletics facilitated a boom in sporting apparel. A series of collaborations with tennis and football champions such as Bjorn Borg and Roberto Bettaga facilitated the brand's rise to it's current position as one of the world's most popular sneaker brands, up there with the other major European imprints of Puma and Adidas.

The brand has retained it's popularity thanks to a spate of recent collaboration with industry leaders and trend setters such as Patta, 24 Kilates and Solebox. These collaborations combine Diadora iconic heritage silhouettes with the respective brand's design aesthetic creating truly beautiful hybrids.

Here at Fat Buddha Store we have taken an array of  new colour option in Diadora's Camaro and N9000 shapes. The beloved N9000 is a technologically advanced, high performance shoe that was engineered to integrate stability and comfort. The revamped N9000 silhouette stays faithful to the original model’s construction with the same sole and fabric materials, but come in an array of bright colour options. The Camaro was designed in the 80s and is a paired back retro running shoe.
