Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Clarks, Edwin, Happy Socks, Ray-Ban

Image
This weeks outfit grid is a summer ready look with utilitarian cuts from Carhartt WIP & Edwin with accessories from Happy Socks & Ray-Ban . Starting the look is this classic white Base T-shirt from Carhartt WIP . The white t-shirt is the summer seasons best friend and will keep you cool when the sun is shining and looks clean and fresh. We have layered the t-shirt up with this Corporal Shirt from Japanese imprint Edwin ; an evergreen military style shirt made from a crispy cotton poplin featuring angled chest pockets, placket stitch detail and elbow reinforcement. In keeping with the utilitarian cuts; for bottoms we have used Carhartt WIP's   Marshall Jogger which have a sporty note thanks to the drawcord at the waist and the elastic cuffs. Elevating the look is Clarks's signature weaver silhouette in complimentary black which we have teamed with these bold Paisley Pattern Socks for a hint of colour. Finally add a summer essential with these J...

Outfit of the Week - Travelling Look

Image
Following on from last week's festival influenced look we thought we'd mix it up again and create a travelling inspired outfit grid this week. We've selected a colour palette of greys and navies in a selection of soft and comfortable fabrics. Starting of the look is this classic grey crewneck from Danish imprint Wood Wood which features the minimal, clean lines often associated with Scandinavian design. Made from a super soft cotton and featuring a comfy fleece lining it's perfect for travelling and can be taken straight off for those arriving in warmer climates. For travelling shorts are always a comfortable and stylish option. We have gone for these regular Johnson Short from Carhartt WIP with a low waist as these are a great option for both smart and casual outfits. For footwear we have gone with Converse's iconic All Star silhouette in this complimentary Wild Dove colourway. No travel outfit would be complete without luggage and we have selected t...

Outfit of the Week - Carhartt WIP, Converse, Edwin, Ray-Ban

Image
This week's summer inspired look features pieces from Edwin and Carhartt WIP's Spring/Summer collections along with accessories and footwear from Converse and Ray-Ban .  Starting off the look is this Coach Jacket from Edwin in this bold Royal Blue colour with contrasting white buttons. A classic coach jacket always looks smart and this one with minimal detailing and  subtle branding to the left chest lets the colour do the talking. Light enough for the warmer months but still offering protection from the rain, it is perfect for Scottish summers. We have layered this jacket over this grey Mt Fuji Logo T-shirt also from Edwin as we love the colour variation against the blue. For bottoms we have gone for a classic cotton short from Carhartt WIP . When choosing shorts there are so many colour options available so go with a colour, like this classic chino colour, that will go with your wardrobe and will ensure maximum usage. These shorts are constructed from cotton ...
