Going Out - Numbers present Mike Servito & Spencer

Image
For Number's next Sub Club session, Spencer is joined by none other than MIKE SERVITO a resident at both NYC’s ‘The Bunker’ and Detroit’s ‘No Way Back’ parties. He’s a firm favourite of ours and has a history than stretches all the way back to the mid 90’s - basically an exceptionally good dj who has the records and that certain secret knowledge required to elevate a party. Having done shows with Mike outside of Glasgow, we’re really excited to hear what he’s got planned for our home town.

Going Out - Numbers present: Acid Melt with Spencer & JD Twitch

Image
Tonight ( 3.03) marks the return of Numbers for their latest party. Taking cues from this legendary number, they’re throwing a party inspired by the original home of acid - The Music Box in Chicago - where Ron Hardy presided over an anything goes music policy. This won't be a night of endless 303s; rather it’s a re-imagining of the intensity and wildness of those parties. Special guest for the night is JD Twitch, who’ll be celebrating his birthday and playing alongside Spencer in the booth. Complementing the music and making things that little bit freakier will be a special ‘Acid Melt’ installation created in collaboration with Shaun Murphy and Jenny Reid. Advance tickets are on sale now via Resident Advisor and Ticket Tailor: RA: http://nmb.rs/acidmelt-RA Ticket Tailor: http://nmb.rs/acidmelt-TT

Music Monday - Kanye West, A$AP Ferg, Numbers - Anthony Naples & Spencer

Image
This weeks musical offering features a video of Kanye West's much talked about performance on the Jonathan Ross show, the new FaceTime inspired video from A$AP Ferg and for those heading out this weekend the lowdown on the much awaited Numbers party with Anthony Naples and Spencer. Kanye West performs "Only One" - The Jonathan Ross Show Although the performance seemed to appear in the media for all the wrong reasons by suggesting tension between Kanye West and host Jonathan Ross with rumors playing on Kanye's diva like reputation. However striping away the media buzz what we have left is a great performance which shows us why Kanye is considered such a visionary in spite of his notoriety for distracting antics. Titled Only One, an ode to his daughter North, the performance appears like a music video with Kanye performing in a celestial lightbox. The emotionally charged rendition of the beautiful track sees Kanye choreographically collapse at the end of the song,...
