Music Monday - Kanye West, A$AP Ferg, Numbers - Anthony Naples & Spencer

This weeks musical offering features a video of Kanye West's much talked about performance on the Jonathan Ross show, the new FaceTime inspired video from A$AP Ferg and for those heading out this weekend the lowdown on the much awaited Numbers party with Anthony Naples and Spencer.

Kanye West performs "Only One" - The Jonathan Ross Show
Although the performance seemed to appear in the media for all the wrong reasons by suggesting tension between Kanye West and host Jonathan Ross with rumors playing on Kanye's diva like reputation. However striping away the media buzz what we have left is a great performance which shows us why Kanye is considered such a visionary in spite of his notoriety for distracting antics. Titled Only One, an ode to his daughter North, the performance appears like a music video with Kanye performing in a celestial lightbox. The emotionally charged rendition of the beautiful track sees Kanye choreographically collapse at the end of the song, prompting Ross to jokingly lie down beside the artist which seemingly refutes the supposed rift. Numbers - Anthony Naples & Spencer

This Friday sees Numbers kick off 2015 with their first party of the year alongside their good pal Anthony Naples.

Prior to the arrival of his first album on Four Tet's Text label this month, Anthony created club slammers for Mister Saturday Night and The Trilogy Tapes, and also found time to run the Proibito label, which has given us fine records from the likes of Huerco S/Royal Crown of Sweden, Hank Jackson and Austin Cesar. On top of that, Naples has earned heavy sound points by being the man behind 'Ill Still’, the first release on Rubadub's in-house label. Numbers residente for the night will be Spencer, who was just recently handed the keys to Subculture and forgot to give them back.

Spencer and Anthony will be making you dance on Friday 6th March at the Sub Club. Advance tickets are on sale now via Resident Advisor here. If your still not convinced head over to Soundcloud to listen to
Anthony Naples's Abrazo mix or head over to FACT magazine to read their great interview with the man himself.
