Montana UV-EFFECT is a transparent effect paint that is only visible under direct UV light. Able to be sprayed on nearly any substrate, the colourless and semi-gloss paint is not visible in sunlight rather illuminates when exposed to UV light with a glowing, blue-purple colour. Ideal for indoor use, the luminous spray can be a great tool not just for making art or art happenings, but also in practical contexts such as Guerilla Marketing, night clubs, venue and property marking. The Montana UV effect Spray can be applied to numerous substrates such as coated and uncoated screens, masonry, wood, glass and more. One of our favourite books here at Fat Buddha Store has to be Upper Playgrounds - 10 Years Of T-Shirt Graphics . The book shows, well, exactly what the title says the last ten years of t-shirt graphics by San Fransisco’s finest street culture shop & clothing line, Upper Playground. If you’re a fan of the latest street art, t shirts or just cool stuff, then this book is definitely for you. The affiliated gallery, Fifty24SF, shows works by leading urban artists, some of whom are the world’s most provocative. The works featured in this 10 year anniversary edition are cutting edge to say the least. They have been some amazing street art in the last while, but one to impress us at Fat Buddha Store has to be from Berlin-based street artist Evol who transforms city blocks, power boxes, walls and many other public structures into micro apartment buildings as part of his ongoing  Buildings  series. Evol carefully maps out each unique urban project by using stencils to mimic the gridded windows and balconies that normally make up an apartment building’s facade. The artist’s extremely detailed miniature apartment buildings often include varied compositions of satellite dishes and diverse window fixtures. Some of the “windows” even have curtains while others are left bare. You can check out some of his great work below.
