What's On - 10 Years of Get A Room

The Brunswick Hotel always plays a major role in the many local festivals and events occuring throughout the year in Glasgow's Merchant City with many goings on happening in their small basement bar, Basura Blanca which has attracted many sought after DJ's and artists through the years. This September they will hold the Get A Room Charity event. They are also well known for throwing the annual Get A Room charity event which utilises the space of pretty much the whole hotel to create an evening like you've never seen before. This year will be the tenth year of Get A Room meaning that we will be in for a real treat. Get A Room takes place on Sunday 23 September 2012. Expect to be entertained with DJ's, Artists, Installations and a Pedal powered jukebox over 7 floors of the Brunswick Hotel from 6pm with a secret after party in the City Centre till 3am. An album that we never tire of in Fat Buddha is the last Glasvegas album, and good news for us, today is the release of their second LP titled 'Euphoric /// Heartbreak' Already gaining very favourable reviews from all major publication online and in print the album sees the band use more than just guitars and drums, with the inclusion of Synthesizers and keyboards. The band are playing a special FREE set today here in Glasgow at 12:45 on the steps next to the Royal Concert Hall - before going across the road to HMV to sign copies of the new album. Fraser

So I went home last night to find the latest issue of Front Magazine , the best magazine out there at the moment, lying on my floor waiting for me. I had a wee quick glance through and noticed they had featured the Amos toys that we sell in Fat Buddha !
