This Saturday 07/06  Supermax  returns to the Berkeley Suite with Glasgow's king of disco Billy Woods. Christopher Kane, Tim Sweeney, Tim Goldsworthy, Jim Lambie, JG Wilkes, Slam and Horse Meat Disco DJ's Jim Stanton & James Hillard are just some of the names who’ve dropped in to party and experience the ‘Bozak - Balmain’ sound system, one of the best in Glasgow.  Supermax promised to offer up a great mix of obscure and funky disco hits for your pleasure. If you have ever been to Supermax before you will know that it fills up early so get yourself down sharp with the doors opening at 11PM and costing £5 on the door. 

If your not at T In The Park this weekend, and your out on the town there is only one party to be at this Saturday night (Sat 13th July) and that's at The Berkeley Suite with Thomas Bullock (Map Of Africa/Rub N Tug/ Thomas Of England) and DJ Billy Woods (Supermax). Most commonly known for his participation in the Rub’N’Tug psychedelic disco machine alongside Eric Duncan, Thomas' career in music stretches all the way back to late 80s Cambridge where he was a part of the “legendary” Tonka party crew alongside long term aficionado DJ Harvey – the two would later record together as Map Of Africa on the Whatever We Want label. One of the staff at the stores favourite venues in Glasgow, The Berkley Suite will be hosting the Supermax 5th Birthday celebrations this Saturday. The special Reich n Roll celebrations will be headed by Supermax main man Billy Woods with the legendary Bozak-Balmain Soundsystem. Supermax could be defined as a taste of the decadent soundsystems of New York's disco era. Providing a soundtrack that will truly expand your mind and open your eyes and ears to the possibilities. Described as a heady cocktail of the super obscure alongside the unexpected from past, present and future within a hot, dark, smokey environment that evokes the raw sensibilities of pre-commercialised club going.
