The annual treat that is the Glasgow Film Festival , which brings us us all manner of interesting films, discussion panels and exclusive events, is nearing its close as it reaches Academy Awards night tomorrow. This years festival has already seen the premiere of Cloud Atlas, the Tom Hanks and Halle Berry film shot in our very own Glasgow streets, a Q&A between famed comic book artist Mark Millar and our very own First Minister Alex Salmond and a smattering of great independent films but the fun is definitely not over yet. Some highlights of this weekend include the worldwide first screenings of Ryan Gosling's newest film, The Place Beyond The Pines , where he again joins forces with Derek Cianfrance (Director of Blue Valentine) for a crime drama about a stunt driver/bank robber trying to support his young family. The return of acclaimed HBO drama series Mad Men was announced this week and we can't wait for its return, of course its mainly for its effortless cool and suave sensibilities, but of course we're looking forward to seeing the Mad Men ladies back on our screen too, in particular January Jones. January Jones, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has been acting since 1999 with supporting roles in films such as Anger Management, Love Actually, American Wedding and most recently playing the character of Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class. January is most well known for her role as Betty Draper in Mad Men, the long suffering ex-wife of philandering lead character Don Draper. In a cast that also features buxom beauty Christina Hendricks, January Jones' blonde bombshell looks really stand out!   Look forward to the return of January Jones and Mad Men on April 7th.
