If you haven't heard the name King Krule over the past week or so, then you must have been living under a rock! The just-turned-19 year old singer has become the darling of the blogosphere with the release of his first studio album, '6 Feet Beneath The Moon', with critics likening his sound to that of Edwyn Collins and Morrissey. Its been 3 years since King Krule released his first single 'Out Getting Ribs', but it looks as if right now the rest of the music world is beginning to realise that he is something special, with nominations to the BBC Sound Of 2013 poll and rumoured collaborations with Frank Ocean in the works. King Krule's young life has not been easy though, after refusing to attend school, he was given a home tutor and subsequently sent to two centres for the permanently excluded, he also suffered from insomnia and was put through rigorous tests for mental illness at London's Maudsley Hospital. Hip Hop's rebel without a cause, Tyler, The Creator, let loose his new album 'Wolf' this past week on the Odd Future soundcloud, giving all his fans a listen before it officially drops tomorrow. Tyler really needs no explanation, if you have listened to any popular music over the past year, its likely that you've heard him or his Odd Future compadres in some form. First gaining some shine at the end of 2009/start of 2010, Tyler and his Odd Future crew turned the hip hop world on its head for while, polarising opinion with their cartoonish, braggadocious, hipster rap, an amalgamation of their collective upbringings spending their younger days hanging in LA's Rosewood area, skating, smoking and listening to hip hop.
