Music Monday - Tyler, The Creator

Hip Hop's rebel without a cause, Tyler, The Creator, let loose his new album 'Wolf' this past week on the Odd Future soundcloud, giving all his fans a listen before it officially drops tomorrow.

Tyler really needs no explanation, if you have listened to any popular music over the past year, its likely that you've heard him or his Odd Future compadres in some form.

First gaining some shine at the end of 2009/start of 2010, Tyler and his Odd Future crew turned the hip hop world on its head for while, polarising opinion with their cartoonish, braggadocious, hipster rap, an amalgamation of their collective upbringings spending their younger days hanging in LA's Rosewood area, skating, smoking and listening to hip hop.

Tylers first album 'Bastard' in 2009 was self released but still managed to make it onto Pitchfork's list of the best albums of the year. His sophhomore effort, and his first official release 'Goblin' in 2011 was a massive hit and featured the singles, 'Sandwitches' and 'Yonkers', the latter was considered Tyler's breakout song, with the music video generating over 50 million views on Youtube.

Since he blew up with 'Goblin', its been impossible to ignore Tylers rise, with photoshoots with Terry Richardson, his TV Show 'Loiter Squad' on Adult Swim, numerous appearances on Jimmy Fallon and featuring on tracks with The Game, Lil Wayne, Pusha T and Trash Talk, amongst a host of other things.

The video for 'IFHY', the first single from 'Wolf' can be seen above and the album is due for release tomorrow, but you can listen to the stream here. The album features guest appearances from Odd Future crew members Frank Ocean, Domo Genesis, Left Brain and Hodgy Beats along with Erykah Badu, Pharell and Casey Veggies.
