--> I f you have lived in Glasgow for long enough you may remember the gargantuan Borders book store which used to occupy a vast 2 storey building in the middle of Buchanan street. It was here that resided one of the most varied book and magazine collections in the city catering for a wealth of niche markets which would attract people from all sorts of sub cultures and with all kinds of interests. Unfortunately the haven closed its doors back in 2009 and left a proverbial hole in the heart of Glasgow's literature obsessed. --> The silver lining to this loss was there was now space in the previously fortified market for independents to step up and fill the void, cue Fat Buddha accepting the challenge and acquiring distribution rights to some of the top publications from around the globe. For those who don't know who James Jarvis is, he is an illustrator and graphic artist from London, who in 1998 designed the legendary toy figure 'Martin' which kick-started the designer toy revolution! Jarvis has worked for some of the biggest names around - Sony, Stussy and Nike to name a few, check out the nike video he recently animated... He also did this cover for Juxtapoz magazine. We've got a few Amos figures in the shop, so why not head down and with the money you save on our sale , get hold of some designer vinyl with your change. ©

We're a big fan of Jeremyville here at Fat Buddha , his work appears on so many of the products we stock. Jeremyville is an Australian artist, designer, illustrator and producer, with his cute, yet strangely weird characters appearing all over the place it would be hard to miss his work over the past few years! His illustrations have his characters appearing in strange fantasy worlds, often to promote other brands, like here with Hello Kitty . If you pop into the shop and are browsing our massive art and design book section, be sure not to miss this little gem from the man himself. Kidrobot has called upon Jeremyvilles unique stylings on a number of occasions and as well as unique figures like this one , you may also be lucky enough to pull a J.Ville Dunny from the blind box series' that he's been involved in. One of the latest additions to the store has been this little Love Bunny plush figure , cuteness in bucketloads!
