It was a no-brainer for us this week with Music Monday, what with all the fuss being made of Kanye West over the weekend. The ever controversial but always entertaining hip hop star made waves with the release of his newest track 'New Slaves' over the weekend, premiering it through the medium of a projected video simultaneously broadcasted in over 60 buildings in 10 locations around the world. Kanye then went on to tease us with a possible name for his sixth studio album - 'Yeezus' - and possible artwork which you can see below (along with a possible new Yeezy 2 colourway). On Saturday Night Live, he performed 'New Slaves' for the first time and then went on to debut another new track 'Black Skinhead'. The new tracks sound great and we're highly anticipating the forthcoming album, what do you guys think?

'10 Day' brought Chance into many peoples consciousness, with the mixtape being downloaded over 20,000 times on Dat Piff, but its his newest mixtape ...

Frank Ocean's is an exciting prospect in music right now, seen as the man who is regenrating r'n'B with his excellent and wholly original intimate music.  His debut album Channel Orange was released earlier this month and earlier than originally planned due to high demand. The young star who has written songs for the likes of John Legend and Justin Beiber has seen his career sky rocket since he released his first free mixtape in 2010 which led collaborations with Jay Z and Kanye West and now his full length debut album titled Channel Orange. His first mixtape release came in 2010 when he joined the creative music, art, rap collective (gang) Odd Future. Where he adopted their undergound approach to releasing music by giving out free downloadable mixtapes rather than the more original approach of releasing through a record company. This approach ignited his career. For his debut album he opted for the more original approach of releasing through a label, it is clea...
