After teasing with the mammoth Puma x ALIFE collab in February we are thrilled to announce that mainline ALIFE has come to Fat Buddha Store . For those not in the know ALIFE is a concept store based out of downtown New York, it elevates itself above regular brands by focusing as much on lifestyle and art as apparel. First opening it’s door in 1999 with a modest shopfront on the Lower East Side the brand’s popularity grew in the Hip Hop, Artistic and Skate communities to form something of a cultural hub in the neighbourhood. This early success was parlayed in the early noughties with the opening of the now famous tier 0 sneaker store Alife Rivington Club. 2006 seen ALIFE expand their original lifestyle concept by sponsoring talent such as Q-Tip, Jadakiss and Moby. After receiving the Nike Pegasus 83 Suede in Wine last month at Fat Buddha Store , we have been eagerly awaiting the August arrival in Gold, and now it has landed in store. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of Nike s most iconic shoes, the Air Pegasus 83 has seen a great reissue with the model coming back in all sorts of OG, hybrid and all new iterations this year. The Air Pegasus 83 features a premium suede upper, EVA midsole, low cut collar for comfort and a waffle outsole for traction. You can check out more pics below. The Puma Suede Classic that has been dropping in the store as of late has been really strong, and these new vintage style Puma Suede's are no exception! Taking the classic silhouette of the Puma Suede, they've given it a vintage makeover by napping the suede uppers, oxidising the midsole and distressing the puma swoosh and tongue branding.   Available in two colourways, red and blue, this is a brilliant vintage looking, they're out on the shop floor now and will be online reals soon!
