New Brand: ALIFE - Fat Buddha Store Glasgow
After teasing with the mammoth Puma x
ALIFE collab in February we are thrilled to announce that mainline ALIFE has
come to Fat Buddha Store.
For those not in the know ALIFE is a
concept store based out of downtown New York, it elevates itself above regular
brands by focusing as much on lifestyle and art as apparel. First opening it’s
door in 1999 with a modest shopfront on the Lower East Side the brand’s
popularity grew in the Hip Hop, Artistic and Skate communities to form
something of a cultural hub in the neighbourhood. This early success was
parlayed in the early noughties with the opening of the now famous tier 0 sneaker
store Alife Rivington Club. 2006 seen ALIFE expand their original lifestyle
concept by sponsoring talent such as Q-Tip, Jadakiss and Moby.
ALIFE is a firm favourite on the UK
streetwear scene with the classic ALIFE bubble logo or OG logo turning crews,
t-shirts and zip hoodies into instant bestsellers.
February gave us our first in store
taste of ALIFE with the bringing together of two streetwear giants in the ALIFE x Puma collab. The collaboration seen a
varied collection of sweats, tees, shorts, bags, jackets and of course
sneakers. Print lead the way in the
apparel with the Rivington Club’s signature purple and red diamond logo used
both impudently and selectively throughout the range. ALIFE’s spiritual home is
also embedded heavily in the ALIFE x PUMA Suede that come in both white and
black and feature weathered suede uppers to signify the incessant dirt of New
York city.
From the mainline we have taken print
tee’s featuring ALIFE’s classic branding along with screen printed graphics.
Again keeping it classic we are stocking a baseball style snapback with ALIFE’s
iconic branding.
ALIFE is truely one of the streetwear big boys and we are thrilled to have it in store for Spring/Summer 2015. Shop the full range ALIFE and the PUMA x ALIFE collab in store and online at Fat Buddha Store.
