Born as a multi-purpose training shoes in the 60s Adidas's Gazelle silhouette has become one of the most iconic in their assemblage. Just arrived at Fat Buddha Store is this latest version which has a bold colourway consisting of unity purple upper, contrasting solar yellow accents and a dark brown gum sole unit. The Gazelle's understated and comfortable low profile silhouette rose to prominence in the terrace culture of the early 80s and has remained popular ever since. Constructed from super soft suede the length of the upper it also features contrasting solar yellow signature 3 stripe and heel tab with gold foil Gazelle branding to the side wall. Constructed from premium materials it features a plush suede upper with leather vamp and tongue. The low profile tennis style sneaker has a minimalist aesthetic and comes in this block off white beige colour. Built with comfort in mind it features a soft comfortable liner and a cushioning vulcanised rubber outsole. The look is finished off with a vintage white sole unit. As well as hanging out in the dj booth at the Paradise Garage, Justin was dj at a series of clubs that define the New York club scene of that era, then indisputably the best in the world; Mudd Club, Danceteri a, Palladium, Tunnel, and Area, clubs that if we had a time machine would be our first port of call. We have seen drops of Adidas's Tubular Shadow silhouette before but they have all been streamlined, clean and block colours - not any more. Just arrived at Fat Buddha Store is this version which comes complete with a duck camo covered upper. Sharing attributes to the ultra popular Yeezy Boost 350 the asymmetrical monochrome upper features plush suede on one side and nubuck on the other. Further bold detailing includes rope style laces and iconic trefoil branding to the pronounced heel tab. Prototypical features like the Ortholite sockliner for a snug fit and EVA midsole for enhanced cushioning are retained while the ridged edges on the outsole provide a nod to the original tyre-inspired Tubular design. We've gone for bold colours for this week's outfit grid with pieces from some of our favourite outdoor brands. Starting off this week's look is something very special from American outdoor-wear imprint Patagonia . This Torrentshell Jacket is constructed from a waterproof, yet breathable shell which both protects you from the elements and looks super slick thanks to the bold colours and this being the more contemporary pullover version. We've teamed the jacket with this P6 Logo t-shirt, also from Patagonia , which is a classic organic cotton t-shirt complete with their signature mountain logo branding.
