Now in their ninth year, Huntleys and Palmers have built a reputation for championing exciting new music from around the world. First, there were killer singles, from "By The Time I Get to Venus" in 2002, to international mega hit of 2008 "Happy House" as well as the "The Simple Life". There was a debut full-length (Less Than Human, 2005); remixes for colleagues like Air, Yoko Ono, Daft Punk, David Gahan, Franz Ferdinand; international tours with Cut Copy and Shocking Pinks, and DJ gigs from Telluride to Tel Aviv. This Saturday 07/06  Supermax  returns to the Berkeley Suite with Glasgow's king of disco Billy Woods. Christopher Kane, Tim Sweeney, Tim Goldsworthy, Jim Lambie, JG Wilkes, Slam and Horse Meat Disco DJ's Jim Stanton & James Hillard are just some of the names who’ve dropped in to party and experience the ‘Bozak - Balmain’ sound system, one of the best in Glasgow.  Supermax promised to offer up a great mix of obscure and funky disco hits for your pleasure. If you have ever been to Supermax before you will know that it fills up early so get yourself down sharp with the doors opening at 11PM and costing £5 on the door.

Sound wise think, Disco, Italo, House, Re-Edits, Cosmic, Electronic, Balearic, Psychedelic, Funk, Boogie and everything else in between. The Berkeley Suite has been renowned for it's great great bookings since opening it's doors a while back with guests such as Dan Avery (Phantasy), Prins Thomas (Full Pupp), Thomas Bullock (Rub'n'Tug), Optimo, Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco, Cosmo Vitelli, Pete Herbert & Dicky Trisco (Disco Deviance), the list continues...rolling through the place and Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston holding down a residency there with their brilliant 'A Love From Outer Space' club night. The club runs from 11pm till 3am, get down early to ensure entry!
