Le Coq Sportif is partnering with L'Eroica, one of the greatest cycling tours held in the picturesque Italian countryside, in order to share their passion for cycling. To celebrate this collaboration Le Coq Sportif have released a capsule collection consisting of jerseys, tee's and cycling caps. The collection has a retro feel with the jersey based on the original 1950s design for competitors in the Tour de France made in classic merino wool.  The collection is designed to celebrate the legacy of the race and Le Coq Sportif's continuing commitment to it and is available online here and instore at Fat Buddha.

Rad Rides has to be one of the greatest books we've seen on BMX and it's in store now at Fat Buddha Store . BMX bikes are iconic, theres something about them that appeals to kids, adults and cyclists. And, of course, BMX has now become an Olympic sport. Levi's Commuter range makes another welcome appearance at Fat Buddha Store for Spring/Summer 2012, and looks set to be hit. Originally launched for fall of 2011, the successfu Levi's Commuter Series of workwear-inspired cycling apparel is back for another Spring/Summer 2013 season and is now expanding its market range with an additional Hong Kong release as well. With the advent of a new season, the four-piece collection that had remained largely unchanged from before has been expanded to now feature new graphic tee's, shorts and a new series parka also adding some nice new colours to it's original products. Bookman lights have arrived instore at Fat Buddha Store, and are one on the most quirky and functional things we have seen in a while. The company began life at the end of 2009 with three friends who had about half a semester left of their degree in Industrial engineering and another friend that also didn’t want to get a proper 9-5 job. They took the choice to try the entrepreneurial route and went to work. Most of them were dedicated cyclists and all shared an interest in design which gave them the direction for the brand. They thought that they are so many gadgets and accessories for bikes in the market but there was so few that we would like to put on their bikes. The company wanted to make accessories that would complement the bike instead of detract from it. They did some projects on the side to get the money for tooling and after a lot of samples getting sent back and forth they were happy to place the first order of lights in the spring of 2011. Famous saddle manufacturers and purveyors of all fine bicycle related goods Brooks England are the next brand we are happy to welcome instore at Fat Buddha Store. The brand started out making bicycle saddles in 1866 in Hockley Birmingham and are now based in Smethwick Birmingham England. The fundamental design of a Brooks saddle is a leather top stretched between a metal "cantle plate" at the rear and a nose piece, to which it is attached with steel or copper rivets. Using a threaded bolt, the nose piece can be moved forward independently of the rails, tensioning the leather. It is important not to over-tension the leather or it may tear, especially at the rivets. Normally the nose bolt should not be adjusted unless the saddle becomes noticeably sagged, in which case it should only be adjusted in fractions of a turn until the top is comfortable again. The latest collection does not disappoint with some real simple classic looking block print tees and sweats as well as a collection of headwear that will make your eyes water. The 5 panels are a real stand out such as the Camper which features leather logo detail on the front panel as well as a suede skip.
