Going Out - Supermax 5th Birthday

Image
One of the staff at the stores favourite venues in Glasgow, The Berkley Suite will be hosting the Supermax 5th Birthday celebrations this Saturday. The special Reich n Roll celebrations will be headed by Supermax main man Billy Woods with the legendary Bozak-Balmain Soundsystem. Supermax could be defined as a taste of the decadent soundsystems of New York's disco era. Providing a soundtrack that will truly expand your mind and open your eyes and ears to the possibilities. Described as a heady cocktail of the super obscure alongside the unexpected from past, present and future within a hot, dark, smokey environment that evokes the raw sensibilities of pre-commercialised club going. Gonna be a blinder, check the event page here .

Last month G-Shock celebrated their 30th Anniversary with an exclusive event at the Manhattan Centre in New York City. The event which showcased up and coming collaborative models between the likes of Eric Haze, DGK, CLOT and Burton also gave an insight and meet and greet with the creators of the legendary timepiece as well as a look at the innovative technology used. There was also a look at the limited edition 30th Anniversary watches which will be released later this year. People were blown away by the suprise performance from Eminem (who will also be rleasing a collab next year) with crew Slaughterhouse as well as music from DJ Drama. Eminem saluted G-Shock  for three decades of stylish digital watches. Check out our full range of G-Shock here .

Going out - Vitamins 8

Image
Tonight see's Glasgow's Vitamins crew through their annual summer party in the form of Vitamins 8 . If you know anything about Vitamins then you know this is not to be missed. Held in an undisclosed location that they will be bussing guests to from Glasgow is pretty much all we know but we are certain what awaits will be something pretty spectacular if previous Vitamins parties are anything to go by. The Vitamins crew, who formed in 2009 after working on Sub City Radio together, have made it their aim to challenge the traditional idea of what a club night is in Glasgow by creating up a setup and an experience that is equally as important as the music itself. With fantastic attention to the production side of things in enhancing the experience with the venue, visuals or any other treats they can come up with that will really take people by surprise. They also go by the rule that their parties will never be defined by one genre of music so no two acts they book will play th...
