As Adidas release a host of technical archival material such as the reintroduction of the ' EQT '93 ' and the ' ZX5000 ', it's highly encouraging for the purists to see that they haven't forgotten their roots with their most recent SS15 capsule. The new season is a nostalgic reminder as to why Adidas deserve their title as one of the worlds most successful sportswear manufacturers, and why they have held this title for over 60 years; the continuous delivery of high quality garments for virtually every subculture ranging from the no-nonsense fitness enthusiast to the young modern casual, Adidas caters for all and discriminates against none. The Adidas ZX 500 OG needs no introduction. First introduced in 1983, it launched Adidas into the technical running shoe market and has enjoyed huge success for 25 years since. This archive Ice Grey/Legend Ink colourway makes a welcome return, perfectly showcasing the brands classic silhouette. A mixture of premium suede, nylon and nylon mesh, sat on a two tone EVA midsole in light grey and white. Other features include leather three stripe branding to the side. Another addition to our ever growing family of New Balance footwear at Fat Buddha Store is the brands classic 574 in a new Grey/Orange/White colour way(CPO). First released in 1988, New Balance brought us this great  running shoe. Featuring a premium Grey suede upper with breathable mesh panelling, white and orange accents, branded heel stabiliser and a grey coloured ENCAP midsole for stability and shock reduction. It also includes New Balance branding on the sides, heel and woven branding on the tongue, finished of with nice white padded lined inner.You can check out more pics below. Puma go deep into their extensive footwear archive to bring us the release of the Trinomic XT2 OG. The XT2 was regarded as the brands signature model for the Trinomic series running collection, and was originally released in the 90s. It comes back to us as a limited edition release in all it's former glory. The shoe features a grey mesh upper with tonal felt overlays on the toe, ankle and lace surround with green panels on the bottom lace loop and heel and fluorescent yellow accents on the form stripe and lace up. The shoe is sat on a white and grey midsole with a black grey and green outsole and is finished with Puma branding on the tongue, heel and on a yellow lace jewel. You can check out some pics below. The shoe is released tomorrow (Wed 25th September), and is set to go fast, so be quick to grab this Limited Edition OG reissue. Available in store and online at Fat Buddha Store.

It's always nice to see Nike drop a new colour way in one of it's classic styles, so it was a pleasant surprise to see the brands iconic Vortex drop through the door at Fat Buddha Store sporting a nice new Armory Slate colour option. Initially released in 1985, the Vortex had instant success with its comfort, support, and at the time of its release its modern style. The upper of the shoe has been made from a mesh and suede construction and the soles are built from vulcanized rubber. You can check out some pics below. The New Balance 373 appears back on the scene here at Fat Buddha , sporting a new Wine/Green/White colouway. If you want to look like you've been there before, you might want to look into the New Balance 373, a heritage classic casual with a style that says you've been around the block a few times. The shoe features include a split suede/mesh upper, EVA midsole/heel and a durable rubber outsole. The 373 is a great low profile shoe front the team at New Balance , giving extra comfort through its padded collar and tongue also. You can check out some pics below. The Puma Suede Classic that has been dropping in the store as of late has been really strong, and these new vintage style Puma Suede's are no exception! Taking the classic silhouette of the Puma Suede, they've given it a vintage makeover by napping the suede uppers, oxidising the midsole and distressing the puma swoosh and tongue branding.   Available in two colourways, red and blue, this is a brilliant vintage looking, they're out on the shop floor now and will be online reals soon! Two new vintage-style colourways arrived this week from Nike of the classic Cortez . The Cortez features a light nylon upper and a jagged sole - which completes this throwback look. The shoe was created by Bill Bowerman for Nike in the 60's. Bowerman and Phil Knight initially began importing the Onitsuka Tiger running shoes from Japan to sell in the States. Bowerman's design ideas led to the creation of a running shoe in 1966 that would ultimately be named " Cortez " in 1968, which quickly became a top-seller and remains one of Nike's most iconic footwear designs. Bowerman designed several Nike shoes, but is best known for ruining his wife's waffle iron in 1970 or 1971, experimenting with the idea of using waffle-ironed rubber to create a new sole for footwear that would grip but be lightweight.
